@rathernotshare 😂😂😂 to be a fly on the wall during that conversation!

Carley321 · 08/03/2020 19:20

@Lozzlepop so sorry for what you’ve gone through. It really is tough 💐 At least your getting into the swing of investigations now.

@Anny27 so sorry to you too. It’s so bloody cruel. I wish I was one of those women too 🙈.

@Kiza yea it’s been rough. It’s just been so hard because I’ve only actually spoke to nhs Gaeny once. So still not even had feedback on the tests I have had. Also been paying privately for some things like the hsg. But it’s hard going between the two. It’s good you’ve had so much investigated. Good luck with ivf. I hope It comes around soon for you.

@Narwhal88 hello. Yes I think we have. Aw no I’m sorry about the bad news, but it’s good that your
Giving a good health kick a go. Who knows it could be something that improves over time. There’s lots of info on things to help SA. DP is fine
My end but our advice of the private clinic was to limit red meat to 2/3 a month, stay away from saunas and hot baths. Cut down on alcohol and caffeine (not necessarily cut out) and try a Mediterranean diet lol.

Thank you for the warm welcome ladies. It’s nice to have somewhere to go to have a natter about all this. Real life can be emotional on times!

I absolutely hate it when people pop the children question. I can feel myself starring at them with those burning through to your soul eyes! Lol. Why ask! It’s rude!

Forgot to mention I also have irregular cycles and 2 are never the same just to add to the bloody stress 🙈. I hope we all start to get some luck ASAP!

Kiza · 08/03/2020 20:15

@Carley321 sorry if you've been asked this before but have you tried Accupuncture for your irregular cycles? I had a course of 8 treatments last summer and it made my cycles regular from the very first session- was pretty amazing!
We only started the investigations due to my age and only being allowed 1 round of ivf free on the nhs before turning 40 so had to get things moving.

rathernotshare · 08/03/2020 20:26

I've just put on white bedding to try and tempt my first post pill AF to arrive 😂 works a treat any other time!

FarmerWantsABaby · 08/03/2020 21:21

@rathernotshare 😂😂 wear a gstring tomorrow. AF loves a good ole gstring 😂

CoalCraft · 09/03/2020 06:59

@rathernotshare Ah, I know all the fam would be supportive once that for used to the idea of me having a baby, I'm mostly just grumpy with all the questions, advice and assumptions lol. Still I know it mostly comes from a good place.

I like your fresh sheets idea. I recommend white trousers too Grin

@Anny27 not our first house, but honestly I'm more excited about this than our first. Can do a lot more with this place.

Withdrawal bleed coming to an end now. Normally I'd start a new pill packet tomorrow. It's funny thinking I won't!

Carley321 · 09/03/2020 07:51

@Kiza no I haven’t tried acupuncture but I have heard good things about it and reflexology. I find myself looking onto it then getting a bit nervous and end up not knowing where to start with it. I really should though. Maybe I will after the lap.
Oh I hope you get lots of luck with ivf. I am 34 now so a little nervous about my age too.

Lozzlepop · 09/03/2020 16:17

Hi ladies, happy Monday!

@Anny27 I know exactly what you mean, I feel like thats what the whole of last year was for us so this year we are determined to make lots of memories!

@CoalCraft it will all be worth it when you are in your lovely new house!

@Kiza how are you feeling? That left boob still giving you gyp?

@Narwhal88 i would be exactly the same, best to know and you change process and deal with things instead of dragging out not knowing!

@Carley321 thank you ❤️i felt really positive at the start of these tests but now I am just worried they aren't going to find anything, really want April to hurry up so we can get the next lot done!

@rathernotshare 😂my friend always says the same about booking a holiday, AF will randomly arrive when she is due to go away!

Well I called and got DFs SA results, the nurse said they all looked good- starting to get slightly frustrated is this an NHS thing? Im not actually getting told any values just that things look good 🤷🏽‍♀️Had a lovely weekend away to a fantastic hotel with DF so that was nice, am ready for next weekend already lol! Hope everyone had a good one!

Kiza · 09/03/2020 16:53

@Lozzlepop it's the right boob (usually the left though). It's being weird, sometimes it's so painful to touch, other times it's just the normal pms tenderness.
I found the same with the results and scheduled in a telephone conversation with the GP to ask specific levels of everything. I think they assume people don't want to know the nitty gritty!

@Carley321 I hate needles but had a fab lady do my Accupuncture, she was also a nurse so helped keep my calm. I got used to it by the 4th session and once the needles were in was able to chill and meditate.

@rathernotshare any joy on AF? Did the white sheets work? 😂

So I'm a bit confused as to when AF is due, for those of you who had a one off delayed O did AF come at the usual 14 day luteal phase or will it be later? My LP varies depending on my FP as they are both around the same so in the past if my FP was 12 days my LP is 12 days.
Therefore if this time round my FP is 20 does that mean by LP will be 20?
Here's a photo of my stats to better explain what I mean

Annny27 · 09/03/2020 17:32

@kiza whenever my ovulation is later, my AF comes 14 days after so same length luteal phase!

rathernotshare · 09/03/2020 19:29

@CoalCraft @Lozzlepop @Kiza

Nope no AF 😂 white sheets and a thong, what's her issue?! I may have to buy some lingerie to entice it!

whatsthecraic91 · 09/03/2020 19:46

So much to catch up on!

@Lozzlepop yea DPs doctor said all good. So he asked for a print out and picked it up from the surgery, they won't email as its confidential info - so annoying 😕

@Lottiepink my GP and the Dr who done the private scan both said to us that too much can have negative effect! So we are doing every 3rd day this cycle!

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend and Monday!
Had a great day, work is so busy and I am loving it!! Time for a glass of red now 🍷😊

Posycat19 · 09/03/2020 20:00

Hi ladies, would it be okay to join? I’m 35 ttc no.1 for 15 months now. No joy yet. We’ve tried three cycles of iui, acupuncture and all the lifestyle advice although we’re both fit, healthy and eat well. I’m cd25 today of what’s become a 27 cycle. It’s shortened from 29/30 since we started trying. No idea why but I used a opk earlier to see if there was anything. Got a faint line which probably means nothing and wasn’t helpful to do.

Lots of my friends are on their second and third. No one has ever let on to me that it wasn’t as easy as clicking your fingers and I’m just getting a bit jaded of it with no one to talk to about for a reality check or encouragement! I don’t feel like I can even say it to my sister who has three or to my mum. Learning that TTC can be a pretty lonely experience. I could relate to lots of your messages - I’ve my fingers crossed for all of you now.

CoalCraft · 09/03/2020 21:17

@rathernotshare Yup, clearly time to bring out the big guns; go buy those expensive lacy nickers!!

@Posycat19 Welcome, so sorry you've been waiting so long and completely understand feeling isolated by it all. It helps so much being on here as otherwise lots of us would have no one to talk to about it except partners. Really hope you get some good news soon xx

Littlepeas2 · 09/03/2020 21:49

Hi ladies! Would you mind me joining? I’m
31 and TTC baby number 3. I’m on cycle 2 day 14. Still waiting for ovulation! Thought it would be nice to have some people
To talk to on this journey :)

CoalCraft · 09/03/2020 21:52

@Littlepeas2 Welcome! How was your TTC experience with your first two? Hope number 3 comes along for you soon

Littlepeas2 · 09/03/2020 21:57

Hey @coalcraft ! I fell at 21 with my first little girl and she was a surprise! Then I fell with my second daughter quite quickly. But she’s almost 6 and I’m now 31 so things have changed!! My cycle is also different to what it was before as well so I’m
Wondering if it will be more of a wait this time! Are you TTC your first baby?

Annny27 · 09/03/2020 22:00

@littlepeas2 you are more than welcome to stick around but this is a thread for first babies so you may feel better placed elsewhere 💗💗 I think theres a ttc second/3rd baby threads on the conception page. Goodluck with your journey!

Littlepeas2 · 09/03/2020 22:07

Oh I’m so sorry 🤦🏼‍♀️

Annny27 · 09/03/2020 22:10

No need to be sorry @littlepeas2 wasnt sure whether you had misread the title haha! Hope your 3rd baby comes quickly for you aswell 💗💗

Littlepeas2 · 09/03/2020 22:12

I definitely miss read the title! Sending you all lots of luck... ❤️

Kiza · 10/03/2020 07:28

So poas this morning and obviously it was a bfn, 🤦🏼‍♀️ painful boobs have now downgraded to just tender (usual pms for me) so going to try and just jump straight out of bed to work this week to prevent me testing again!

@Annny27 have you added an extra N to your username? It's weird as your name usually comes up green for me but today it's purple, or are there 2 Anny's? 😊
@rathernotshare taking a hpt usually does the trick for me!

@Posycat19 welcome to the group, there's a few of us who have been trying for a while and some at the beginning of their journey. It's a lovely supportive and informative group of ladies here. It's ironic how you look back on life and we were taught that if you just look at a penis you will fall pregnant! Was your IUI via the nhs or private?

KrissyMB · 10/03/2020 08:26

Getting frustrated ladies. Coil removed but period not returned. Tested today and bfn:(

CoalCraft · 10/03/2020 08:37

Well, normally I'd have taken the first pill of a new packet today but... I didn't Grin So today's the first day that something has actually gone out of the ordinary for my pill-accustomed body. I'm kinda curious about how it's all going to go now; I barely even remember what my natural cycle is like lol

@KrissyMB That must be frustrating, no answer it's getting you down :( How long has it been since you had the coil out?
