Line eyes please

Hi all,

So I am late for AF and done a few tests that I think have faint lines since yesterday afternoon but slightly concerned that they are so faint and AF is late, with my previous successful pregnancies I always found out before AF was due.
Also not sure if it's just my eyes playing tricks on me Hmm

Any thoughts?

I can see something in the middle one. I see something faint on the other two as well but not as clear.

I’d get a FRER and check with that.

I can definitely see a faint line in the second pic. The first and last pic there's a faint line again but I find the strip tests and blue dye tests too unreliable.
Go and buy a first response and test again but I'd say congrats!

I've no idea what's happened this cycle but I think I ovulated later than I thought, could that be why it's a faint line?

I have some more tests that I'll try in the morning, I have been testing almost daily for the last week as I thought I was due on earlier then I actually was Confused

My mum just keeps saying that the fact my af hasn't come is a big enough sign but I need a more certain +Ive to reassure myself Blush

I got a bfp on a Clearblue this evening which I really wasn't expecting!

I'm not so sure as to what's going on now Sad

So I did a clear blue last night it said pregnant 1-2 weeks. As it was a pack of 2 I did the other with fmu and it said not pregnant. What's going on?

Some women find they actually test better in the evening that using fmu. The digital tests do need a high level of hcg to be positive so possibly your wee this morning wasn't concentrated enough. Xx

I had never heard of chemicals till a few days ago and that's my fear. My boobs have been sore since yesterday and I have had period type cramps for the last few days.

I'll try again with Clearblue and book an appointment for Monday.

I got negative for Clearblue digital on the day of missed period. I gave up testing with them and used the classic tests like FRER to see a progression.

Plus I'm one of those ladies that found my tests were stronger in the late afternoon or evening rather then morning.

I got 2 false positives last month with boots tests, won't be using them again.

I know it's easier said than done but try not to panic. If it's still early it might just be fluctuations in HCG in your urine so some tests aren't picking up a sufficient amount. Especially since the digital showed up 1-2 weeks (super early!)
The best thing to do would be get yourself some first response tests, hang on a day or two (I know it'll be difficult!) and test again.
If it is negative then book doctors to get bloods done and then worst case scenario it's a chemical. As awful as it is, the silver lining is you're usually more fertile the cycle after a chemical pregnancy.
Fingers crossed though! Try not to panic x

Also just to add, as others have said the time of day really can change the result.
Usually morning wee is the best cause of the higher levels of hcg. If you then take another test later in the morning or day then it's likely it could be a false negative. Sometimes evening wee works if you hold your wee.

I've had this before positive then negative then positive then negative, it turned out to be a chemical, all you can do is wait and test in a couple of days. Good luck!
