Hey guys,
So Ive had 3 miscarriages in a row, no living children. I got my bloods taken last Tuesday (8 tubes!). They phoned me this morning to tell me I have an extreme Vitamin D defficiency. So I now have 25000 I.U of Vitamin D, called Thorens. Has anyone else been through this? Did it help at all? I feel like it cant be the only reason to my miscarriages over 3 years. They also told me to not try for a baby for the next 3 months so they can retest me.
So any stories would be helpful? I really need something positive. Feel like a baby is never going to happen for me.
Lots of Love x

Yes I get it a lot. I have no idea why, I have a good diet and I'm always outside.

Vit D deficiency makes you feel like hell. So tired. It's amazing how great you feel once you start taking the meds. Good luck.

Had my first dose and feel so queasy, think its because of the texture and taste...pure oil 🤮 I am tired a lot, so hopefully I can feel it kick in soon. Thanks for your response! X

For the last few years I've been getting very low vitamin D- they even tested me for ceoliac. But a few days on the high dose vit d I always feel so much better. Not sure how or if the deficiency can affect fertility though x

I had very low vitamin d when I was pregnant and I was sent for routine shots think I had 6 all together, no complications and was all healthy I don't see why it would affect fertility x

They told me if my vitamin D is low then it increases your chance to miscarry. I dont have an issue getting pregnant. I just cant stay pregnant. They also gave me progesterone to take for 16 weeks twice a day when I get pregnant next time. But I dunno when that ll be 🤷‍♀️ they havent diagnosed me with anything yet. They just told me this supplement may help me for the future x

Big hugs on the miscarriages. It might be linked more to low vit d causing anaemia as you can't form red blood cells properly (also why you feel so tired). Hopefully having it diagnosed will be a positive change for you- generally it's a pretty easy fix. X
