Negative Test Results - Late period

posted this in pregnancy the other day however i haven't had a response yet.
i'm looking for advice/opinions.
Me and my partner have been trying to conceive for over a year now. I came off the depo injection May 2018, periods returned December 2018, so i have had my periods for just over a year now.
Anyway, my Feb period was due Thurs 13th, however it hasn't came. Normally up to a week before my periods i have swollen/sore breast i haven't had that yet.
I've had absolutely no pregnancy symptoms either. I done a pregnancy test on Monday afternoon, negative so done another on Tuesday morning (first wee) and again it was negative. i used just a cheap testing strip but wouldn't have thought that mattered whether i get a negative or positive?

update from this, i bought one from boots last night and still negative this morning. Could it be too soon, or simply an irregular period (which is uncommon)?
Has anyone had a similar experience? Any recommendations?

Maybe a wonky cycle and you ovulated later? I am in a very similar position to yourself, stopped depo in June, periods returned in October. Whilst usually have a regular 30 day cycle I have had one or two wonky ones at 25 days and 35 days.

I also get the sore boobs after ov but this time they’ve only just started a few days before af due so not sure what that’s about.

hmm maybe, when i try to put together all the symptoms and think back i think maybe i have had some, twinges, tiredness but am i just making it fit because its what i want.. do you track your ovulation?

I’m using the Clue app to give me a rough idea of firtile window and can tell when ov has happened as I always get ewcm followed by 2 days of heavy/bloated/constipation feeling.

This cycle I am on CD 25 and about 8DPO. Feeling very different this month with twinges, sicky feeling. Prob in my head though, just as you say it’s because I want it! The boobs this month are odd - always get very full, bigger and sore just after ov but this month only just got (very) sore today but without the usual ‘fullness’.
I think I’m just going mad trying to symptom spot!

its crazy what you go through at this point isn't it, everything that might seem just that tad different you try to find it as a pregnancy symptom.

how long were you on the depo for?

I was on it for 10 years! I have a 17 and 15 year old and swore I wasn’t doing it again. Been with DH 7 years now, 2 years married....we just sort of changed our minds about the baby thing. Didn’t expect it to be so hard though.

i was on it for around 8 years, no children.
I've read it takes much longer to leave the system the longer you are on it, some people take years. i'm hoping to not be one of those.

Still no periods up to today so i'm over a week late now.

I’ve been off the depo for over a year now, was on it for 10 years Im the same with peirods all over the place, started to take clear blue ovulation tests but ended up getting to obsessed so I stopped, one month I can come on once some then the other I can come on twice a month, we’ve been TTC the past 2 months, this month we’ve tried the every other day DTD and gosh it’s so tiring doesn’t help I work 12 hrs night shifts.
I’m hoping this can be our month, i was sick yesterday and today I just don’t feel right so fingers crossed it’s a good sign, I have taken 2 tests one came back positive and one negative, the one that came back positive was a cheaply and had a lot of reviews online of faults posstive results.
So I’m just at the stage of waiting for another week to see if AF arrives.
