3 days late and confused!

I’m new here so sorry if I mess up the lingo!

I am a bit confused about what is going on and wondered if anyone has been in the same boat and can shed some light?

I have a very regular 28 day cycle, usually with sore breasts and spotting in the few days running up to AF. This month, I have had no PMS symptoms and AF is 3 days late (due Sunday/Monday, now it’s Wednesday). I have had some nausea and slight heartburn this week, then this morning, there was a watery brown discharge, which I thought may be AF kicking off but nothing has appeared since. I took a HPT yesterday and it’s was BFN. Any ideas?

I am exactly the same, 3 days late and BFN this morning. I’m trying not to get my hopes up but wish I knew either way. I haven’t really had any symptoms other than sore breasts, which isn’t really enough to go off.

Do you chart OP? Could it be that you ovulated late?

Hi @literaryseed, my situation is more a bit ‘care-free with my partner’ rather than TTC so unfortunately don’t chart. Could be a good explanation though!
