Does sex affect implantation?

Does anyone know if having sex around the time when you might have implantation affect it either positively or negatively?

There doesn't seem to be a definite answer. I've read a study from 2014 I think which said couples who had sex twice in the implantation window were 40% less likely to conceive and once in that window 26% less likely. I believe there have been other studies which found otherwise and I cant really understand the evolutionary purpose behind it but I'm not a scientist!

I've wondered this too? More from a contracting point of view. But if you do it without getting that far, does that matter? No idea.

Makes it difficult when you are trying to cover your window and you aren't always sure where that window is until after?

@Literaryseed thanks for your reply. So is it better to avoid it until you know you're past implantation.... either pregnant or get AF?
@paintfairy I know! Dont want husband to feel like I am just using him for the fertile week only 😂 but also dont want to risk anything if I could actually conceive this month...

I've wondered this too. I've heard sperm helps the implantation process. I've also heard that after ivf it's best to avoid 🤔

I don't think there's enough conclusive evidence to say. I've been avoiding it this month just in case.
