Hi All

I'm really sorry I've read through so much and watched videos and this ovulation and LH surge is confusing the hell out of me I've been TTC 2 years now. I'm trying to figure this out... could someone please please help. I'm CD 13 strong pain on my right side just took an OPK stick (see pic took just now) This must sound so dumb but when am I ovulating as I'm reading OPK shows LH surge so my egg will release the next 12/36 hours? When's the best time to DTDs now or 12 hours later?

Hello, you're right in that with an LH surge the egg is about to be released in the next day or so - meaning that you should be DTD NOW. You've got the highest chance of conceiving if you DTD 1-2 days before ovulation - to make sure his men are on site by the time the egg is released.

I would definitely recommend SMEP if you haven’t already. The idea behind it is to maximise your chances of conception because the sperm is there to meet the egg.

@BeingATwatItsABingThing Morning I haven't tried that I will definitely look at that.

I’m 9+4 today. I got my OPK+ and then we DTD for four nights in a row.

@BeingATwatItsABingThing I'm going to try this method this month still a strong OPK Reading so I guess should DTD next for 4 days?
