Not out till AF? Or Out?

Hi,
I’m 7 days late for AF and have had several BFN.
I have never skipped a period before although I do have irregular periods (26-33 long).
I’m going off when my app says I’m due and I don’t do OPK or anything.
When does it go from ‘you’re not out till AF gets you’ to ‘out out’?

I'm 11 days late, BFN yesterday, never been more than a day late before in 10 years but feel like I must be out, AF nowhere to be seen, no spotting either pretty sure a pregnancy would show on a test now if I was

Same here no spotting or feeling AF is on the way.

I'm the same. It's so annoying isn't it? You just want to move on to the next cycle. I've now missed two periods and I'm so confused as all I've got is BFNs. I'm getting a blood test tomorrow - which will help with my peace of mind. My cycles are slightly irregular (29 - 34 days) but I've never missed a period, let alone two! I've not been on any contraception (we just used condoms before) and I only started TTC in December - with no period since...

I'd worried at being nearly 2 weeks late, cant imagine missing two periods still think it maybe the pregnacare vitamins lengthening my cycle somehow. I have read online that some people have had bfps late to show?

I’m hoping AF shows up just so I can start fresh! Obviously a BFP would be amazing but I’m not holding out hope now even though I have heard about late BFPs too.

So doctor rang me up and fobbed me off, it's not unusual at your age for you to miss a period, have you had a hot flush, suddenly feeling hot than not... take another pregnancy test next week, see if period comes if not contact us, but it's likely to be perimenipause so that was a waste of time

I was literally coming here to start a thread as I'm in the same boat!!! 4 days late now and BFN after BFN. My cycles are usually 26-28 days NEVER over 30 so this is very abnormal. Had a normal, relatively stress free month.

On top of that I have unbearable heartburn which I never have suffered with before and my boobs are so sore it hurts to wash myself

Honestly I'm just wishing it would start now and put me out of my misery.

So I’ve just got a super faint positive...surely it should be a strong positive?!
My last test and I caved. Will pick up some more but not convinced this is going to end well :(

When your over 42 they definitely think its menapause xx

I’m the same. Now 15 days late but bfn and I have wasted so many tests. Doctors appointment tomorrow so will discuss it then. I’m not sure what to say for them to take it seriously and not fob me off! Getting worried about it now.

I got fobbed off on the phone and asked to take note of hot flushes *Sigh.

Congratulations OP! That's very exciting news! I think that different people just have different levels of HCG in their pregnancy. As long as your pregnancy test positives continue to look stronger you should be fine. My mum didn't get a positive with my until she was 7 weeks along. It's not as common but it definitely happens.

I can't wait to find out my results - I just want answers at this point. They're going to check various hormone levels at the same time to rule anything else out. If it comes back all clear, I'll just be relieved and eager for AF to return...

@ylladyoll I know what you mean about doctors fobbing you off. I really put my foot down now that it's got to the point where I've missed two periods. I really drummed home the point that I've NEVER missed a period and I think it finally sunk in.

I'm just gonna concentrate on a healthy diet etc, I dont drink alcohol anyway or smoke so just do that just in case

Another BFN this morning, I don't even know why I'm trying anymore.

My body doesn't feel like my own. My boobs are in AGONY.

Well mine is still MIA 14 days overdue tomo *sigh probably wont test until march 5th when next period is due xx

Today I’m 16 days late and still getting pain low down, to one side as well as dizzy spells and sickness/nausea. Still negative pregnancy tests.
I went to the doctors to explain the situation today and she sent me for immediate blood tests (will get results tomorrow). She’s concerned about ectopic and if not that, then a possible ‘problem with the ovaries’ which will require further investigation. So a waiting game until tomorrow and then I should know one way or the other for definite.

iswhois I was on my 8th late day before I got the faint positive yesterday. Another positive today so keeping my fingers crossed!

Have you all been been using anything to see if you have actually ovulated? Could you have ovulated late? I’m wondering if that’s what had happened to me

I'm not doing opk but I only had sex mid month on 24,25&26th Jan so possible 6 days from the 26th,so would put me at 18 dpo but that's a stretch as although seem can live 5 or 6 days at optimum conditions xx I'm sure I will know one way or another in March

I'm on CD46, I have irregular periods but more often than not I get my period after 20-30 days off, at 40 days off now. Have been getting BFN but my boobs hurt and I'm getting the odd feeling of nausea (fully accept this could all be wishful thinking). I've resigned myself to burning through pregnancy tests until either my period arrives or I get a BFP (seems a lot less likely but here's to hoping!)

My periods have been bang on for 10 years, count on 1 hand how many times I've only been a day late so this is very unusual for me, CD42 for me and counting. Dont know if I can bear to take another test probably wait til 5th March x

I haven’t been testing for ovulation so far but like previous posters have said, I’ve always been really regular. If I’ve ovulated late, I think I’d be getting positive tests by now 😕
