12DPO strange symptoms

Hi people!
My husband and I are TTC and this month I ovulated on the 4th and since a week after i have had a little bit of brown discharge every day. So it started the 12th intermittent until today added sore breasts and like mild period pain. My period is due 18/19th. I thought it could be implantation but did a first response and got a BFN today.
Anyone been through similar situation could point me out in correct direction please? Thank you.

How long have you been TTC for? This started happening to me after around month 3. Unfortunately it’s never been implantation bleeding and has always been the start of AF. Can start anytime from 3-7 days before AF for me.

We have been trying since April 19. But no luck.
It has never happened to me before, maybe a day before but not 7!
Have you been to the doctor to ask if it's normal? As i don't find it normal to "bleed" even if it's a bit at the beginning for over 10/12 consecutive days... Confused

After implantation they say to wait two days after to test so I would wait two days from when the bleeding stops to test. Positive sign though! Do you normally have regular cycles? Seems quite early for af to turn up but you never know

I do hope it’s implantation for you! I just got my hopes up so many times and then was heartbroken it wasn’t implantation.

I agree, it’s not normal... I’m getting bloods and ultrasound this week to check my ovaries and womb etc. GP then referring to me fertility clinic and said it could be a case of my hormones dropping too early

@Breakfastat i hope it all goes well and it's something easily solved. Have you been trying for long? My husband has suggested we go to gp too as my last period was only 2 days and now this. It's playing up and i'm worried i might have something not right. My mum has ovarian cancer so better to be safe than sorry tbh...

We’ve been trying since April ‘19. My husband and I both went to the GP two weeks ago. He has his sperm test this week too which will be a delight for him! Haha. You should go to the GP, may as well get the ball rolling but fingers crossed you won’t need it in the end!

@Breakfastat aw exactly the same then! And GP has accepted testing you and your hubs? That is good! Mine said when i went in June for a blood test to go back in two years if nothing happened! But i'm not waiting two years... Confused
