Anyone found their ovulation date different to app prediction?

I don't use opks and wondered if anyone found their app wrong with ovulation date. I actually think I ovulated earlier than app said

Yes they always are - you really can't rely on the app on its own - I ovulate anywhere from cycle day 10 to 17 in a regular 29 day cycle

You really need to do OPKs alongside them - most let you input the test result and it helps it better predict the next cycles but without that you aren't really giving it anything to personalise your cycle

Yes I was ovulating much earlier than my app said. I think my cycle was a bit all over the place after a miscarriage though!

We used the clear blue digital ovulation test and got pregnant the first month using it!

Get clear blue. Easy to use. Just used them for first month and I ovulated three days later than the app predicted

I use 2 apps and one is always way out. No idea why. I ovulated 1 day earlier than my reliable app predicted this month.

tossacoin1 · 15/02/2020 17:47

@paintfairy what app do you use that is the reliable one?

Flo is usually fairly close for me. @tossacoin1

tossacoin1 · 15/02/2020 18:22

@paintfairy thank you. This app predicts it earlier for me which I think is more accurate

I have tracked inFertility Friend and taken BBT this month, I was a day or two earlier than the app predicted. I like Fertility friend because it adjusts your average cycle length and data the longer you use it so I do feel like it’s getting more accurate now that I’m on my 5th cycle but I’ve heard great things about clear blue opks as well!

paintfairy · 15/02/2020 19:17

They all get better the more you use them. But using opk or BBT will obviously confirm it.

MsChatterbox · 15/02/2020 19:42

Yes I ovulated a few days later in my cycle.

peachypetite · 15/02/2020 19:59

I’m using flo and it’s been inaccurate. Get some clear blue sticks so you know properly.

MrsHP2018 · 15/02/2020 21:31

I've been using an app called Clue alongside clear blue digital ovulation sticks and they've been spot on for the past 3 cycles... Annoyingly can't seem to get pregnant just yet but this could be due to coming off the depo injection

Kona84 · 15/02/2020 21:45

Yes. Ovia predicted cd14-17 but I ovulate around cd20

eurochick · 15/02/2020 22:12

Yep. I feel ovulation (I know the pain I feel coincides with ov due to many monitoring scans for fertility treatment). I can't seem to convince Clue of this though.

paintfairy · 15/02/2020 23:10

@eurochick same. Even though I enter ovulation pain and spotting. 🙄
