@AnxiousAnnie86 I'm testing tomorrow as I'll be 10dpo but not holding out much hope, this month doesn't feel like my month x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 17/02/2020 17:23

@Maidmummy good luck for tomorrow let us know!!! I wouldn't count out if it's negative though. Have you been trying long? X

Maidmummy · 17/02/2020 17:25

@AnxiousAnnie86 this is our first month "properly" trying, odds are pretty low for first month TTC x

Lmac2018 · 17/02/2020 17:26

I might've missed it then... I thought you ovukate 12-48 after the positive and then the egg stays around for 24 hours... So that would make it between 2-3 days after positive ovulation test

AnxiousAnnie86 · 17/02/2020 17:28

@Lmac2018 I'm not 💯 sure, i just read it was 24 hours after but sometimes less and egg can last 24 hours, if you did it on day of ovulation you are deffo in with a chance!! We only did it on the day and two days before xx

OP posts:
Maidmummy · 17/02/2020 18:45

@Lmac2018 ovulation occurs 12-36 hours after your FIRST positive opk with the average being 24 hours later then the egg has a life span of 24 hours but begins to disintegrate after 12 hours so you would technically have a window of around 1.5 to 2 days so it's best to bd on the day of the first positive opk the day of ovulation and the day after x

Lmac2018 · 18/02/2020 02:05

Oh... I think I've definitely missed the window this month. App is saying I get my period in 9 days now so will just have to wait for AF to turn up:((

AnxiousAnnie86 · 18/02/2020 06:34

@Lmac2018 you may of still caught it Friday? Xx

OP posts:
Maidmummy · 18/02/2020 06:55

@Lmac2018 your definitely not out I conceived my son by only having sex on the day of ovulation so it can happen x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 18/02/2020 06:57

@Maidmummy did you test this morning?? X

OP posts:
Maidmummy · 18/02/2020 07:04

@AnxiousAnnie86 yes, BFN which I kind of expected, just hoping it's too early x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 18/02/2020 07:13

@Maidmummy yeah I would imagine so, just keep testing? It's the worst part isn't it :( x

Maidmummy · 18/02/2020 07:20

@AnxiousAnnie86 it really is, I'm sort of hoping the same happens with what happened with my son's with my eldest I tested @ 10dpo in the morning and took it as negative as it was a shadowy grey line on an ic but tested later in the evening on the same day with frer and it was positive, with my youngest it was around 12dpo negative ic in the am but a blazing positive on an ic 8 hours later, I'm really clutching at straws here lol x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 18/02/2020 07:31

@Maidmummy what kind of test did you use? Xx

OP posts:
Maidmummy · 18/02/2020 07:36

@AnxiousAnnie86 It's a one step internet cheapie x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 18/02/2020 07:39

@Maidmummy I didn't get a positive on one of them until after AF Was due x

OP posts:
AnxiousAnnie86 · 18/02/2020 07:40

@Maidmummy I guess the think is the most common day to implant is 9dpo, then it's 48 hours for hcg to build, thats what I always try telling myself x

OP posts:
Maidmummy · 18/02/2020 07:43

@AnxiousAnnie86 I'm telling myself the exact same thing lol I developed a stuffy nose and a cough yesterday which according to Google cold symptoms can happen when the embryo implants as the immune system weakens to stop itself rejecting the embryo so I'm holding out hope that's what's happening and if it is true then the earliest I would get a positive would be tomorrow. Told you I'm clutching at straws Grin

Maidmummy · 18/02/2020 07:45

Weird how I'm the only one in my house out of 5 of us that has a cold, and it's not even a full on cold like I'm used to no aches no fever or chills just my nose and a cough, weird lol x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 18/02/2020 08:40

@Maidmummy it sounds hopeful then! Any other symptoms?? I always symptom spot drive myself mad! I'm doing it already even though I'm 4dpo

OP posts:
Maidmummy · 18/02/2020 09:46

@AnxiousAnnie86 I always SS from day dot I find it helps the days go quicker, I've got sore boobs which I usually only get on the day AF arrives and on/off cramping, I was cramping about an hour ago and suddenly felt wet and thought "oh no AF is early" nope just loads of creamy CM.

Do you have any symptoms yet x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 18/02/2020 10:03

@Maidmummy cramps are a good sign and if you are still a bit a to go before AF!! Boobs are a great sign if you don't normally have them! I have everything crossed for you!

I have really really painful boobs but they've been sore since OV So can't mean anything the only tiny thing is I didn't want coffee this morn. But I know it's too early at 4dpo to mean anything at all x

OP posts:
Maidmummy · 18/02/2020 10:13

@AnxiousAnnie86 never too early for symptoms, I started writing mine down and things have been happening since 1dpo, I know deep down that the symptoms are caused by a surge in progesterone after ovulation but I've also read that if the symptoms continue to worsen after 7dpo then there's a chance of pregnancy as progesterone is supposed to start falling back down in preparation for AF coming but if they worsen it's because progesterone is continuing to rise to sustain a pregnancy. I really need to stay away from Google it's driving me insane Grin

Lmac2018 · 18/02/2020 18:50

Hey girls, sending baby dust your way. I feel like I've missed my window this month, it's a couple of days until implantation would happen but I feel a bit full, like not painful cramps but like uncomfortable fullness?..
