Faint line? Nausea and ovary twinges?

Hi everyone
I'm not entirely sure when I ovulated but had ewcm twice this month- one was 12 days ago and one was 8 days ago. DTD the 2 days following both.

I've done frer this morning and there's definitely a line?! It's faint but we can both see it. I feel nauseas and have some discomfort and twinging in my left ovary.

I never had any symptoms so early with my first pregnancy. I'll test again in couple of days- but is it normal to have twinging I'm so afraid of ectopic! And can anyone else see a line? Thanks

If I was you I'd wait a week, it'll be hard but if you are 7-10 dpo that's very early.

It does look like a bfp though.

Think digitals don't show up early as they're not as sensitive so doesn't mean you're out yet

maria2bela · 16/02/2020 13:28

I can see a very faint line, but don't waste your time doing digitalis atm, they require a higher amount of hcg and if you're very early they won't pick it up. Have you missed AF yet?

Alicia870 · 16/02/2020 16:11

@maria2bela to be honest my last cycle was longer than usual, so I'm not entirely sure when my period is due. Prior to the last cycle they had been 30 ish days.

The only thing I used to kind of track ovulation was EWCM this month. I had 2 lots of it. One was 15 days ago and assuming I ovulated then, I would imagine I would have had a bfp at this point if I'd been successful

However the second lot was only 10 days ago- so is it still possible I could have ovulated then and possibly could still be waiting for it to show on pregnancy test? I appreciate any thoughts on this ladies as I'm new to all this!

EWCM isn't an indicator of ovulation - it just means your estrogen levels are high - that happens a couple of days BEFORE ovulation and can also occur after ovulation as the uterus lining thickens up to support potential implantation

Aside from the above if you were successful this month you would expect to see some line progression after the initial faint line you had

Alicia870 · 16/02/2020 17:00

@itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted I thought it was an indication of ovulation? I mean I know it's not a guarantee but a sign that it's likely to happen in the next day or two? After the second lot of it I had sex the following day - so I counted that as the potential day of ovulation - where I'd be 10dpo. I know that's absolute guess work and could completely not be the case but isn't it still possible this month?

I see, well as you've had a faint line it seems likely that your ovulation signs may ha e been accurate. Best thing to do now is leave it 2 days and retest. Maybe get some cheapies from poundland/tesco too just for comparison..You may just be extremely early. On the other had it could be a chemical pregnancy, you won't know unless you leave it a couple of days to see if lines are improving x

Ruthsoph · 16/02/2020 19:04

Would you say this was a line? Period was due yesterday - advise please x

@Ruthsoph I can see the second line. Retest in the morning.

BuffaloCauliflower · 16/02/2020 19:18

@Ruthsoph I can definitely see a line

Russell19 · 16/02/2020 20:02

@itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted line progression is not always accurate

Ruthsoph · 16/02/2020 20:28

I know how you feel, 2 weeks ago I tested before af was due and got 2 digital 'pregnant' the 3 negative FRER, then af came. That will teach me to test before af is due x

Foreverblowingbubbles18 · 17/02/2020 08:52
