Hi all- just wondering: can you feel your uterus when you're not pregnant? Can you feel it early on if you are pregnant?

When standing, if I gently press in about a hands-width down from my belly button, I think I can feel the top of it...or am I crazy? Or is this normal when not pregnant?

Hi!

No you can’t feel your uterus.
Your bladder is superior to the uterus so when that is full it distends so you can probably feel that.

Only by week 12 can you Palpate the uterus just above the top of the pelvic brim under your umbilical! Prior to this you can’t feel it at all.

Hope this helps.
