Hello ladies. I’ve been reading up on using the menstrual cup when TTC. Inserting it straight after BD and then removing in the morning. Tried that last month for the first time. No success. I was wondering if anyone has done this AND used preseed and conceive plus who can share their experinces??

Thank you Smile xxxx

I’ve heard of doing this with a menstrual cup but honestly it’s a waste of time. A bit of gravity doesn’t hurt so stick your legs in the air, but any sperm fast and strong enough to make to an egg will be there within 15-20 minutes. All you’re keeping in is seminal fluid and it’s not going to make any difference

I use the flex cups as they sit near the cervix but I'm in a different situation as I'm TTC with a known donor through self insemination.

Ordinary menstrual cups are probably useless in my opinion as they sit too low in t cervix and as soon as you stand up will just capture any seminal fluid and hold it until you remove it.

Preseed and soft cup method has worked both times on first try on 2 different cycles for us.

The "legs up" method is surely just as effective!
