Heavy implantation bleeding

Never posted before, hope I’m doing this right?!
I was wondering if anyone had any experience of heavy implantation bleeding? As in, so heavy you thought it was your period and needed pads for five days?
I got this over two weeks ago and thought period, albeit a slightly unusual period with no cramping and maybe a bit ‘watery’... I still has raised bbt last Sunday so took a test and it read positive. I thought maybe a chemical pregnancy as I’ve had one before so doctor advised I leave it a week and test again. Tested this Sunday gone, still positive (but only 2-3 weeks on clear blue digital-surely it should be more as date of last ‘proper period’ was end December?
The midwife has assured me this was an implantation bleed but I’m worried-it was bright red and heavy, and why only 2-3 weeks on the test?! Thanks, sorry for long post!

Reading this gives me hopes I'm 10 days late and I'm never late I'm always 28 days on the dot. Having pregnancy symptoms sore boobs, nausea, bloated, but getting bfn.
Tonight I went to the toilet at 6pm when wiping there was some what I'm guessing was blood it was very very very light pink and only when wiping I a few aches in the back.
When I do have periods I don't have period pains or anything.

I'm due to get bloods taken on Thursday at the docs xx

Fingers crossed for you sazzle3, I took a test the morning I started bleeding and it was still reading negative, despite being a few days late...

Hi-changed name so I’ve just seen your post. Yes, I was pregnant, had my daughter 6 weeks ago. At the 12-week scan the sonographer was able to show me a dark area like a ‘bruise’ where the implantation had caused the heavy bleed.
