To have another baby or not

Hi I have 4 boys 18,12,10 and 6. Have divorced their dad and now my new partner and I are considering having a baby ourselves. The thing is all previous children were csections and the last 2 were premature both for different reasons. We are waiting on an appointment with gp to discuss this with her but wondering if anyone has advice or been in a similar situation? I was never told after the last bit to have another baby and never had a problem throughout pregnancies.

I would ask to be referred to an obstetric consultant at your hospital, they will be able to go through all your old notes with you & go through any risks associated with a 5th section & possible causes of the prematurity. I don’t have personal experience of this but I’m a midwife. Your gp won’t have access to your hospital notes therefore speaking to an obs consultant would be the best way to get the best information. Hope it all works out for you.
