Just entering my fertile week & wondering if anyone else is & we can then wait out the dreaded TWW together?
AF due 1st March, most likely be testing from 10dpo ...no matter how hard I try & wait it never seems to work that way 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

@A08x thank you so much. Took my temperature this morning and thought I'd ovulated. I had a cry. Turns out it was really early (6:20/30) and I'd read it wrong. I'm still in and haven't ovulated.

I've a date with DH later. It's not glamorous but he's told me to tell him and be to the point as he doesn't understand. It seems a little unnatural saying we need to have sex later but it is what it is. 😂 good luck ladies.

CocoW · 13/02/2020 18:11

@Mycrazylife85 we are also at the stage were he prefers the heads up of 'we need to have sex tonight/all week' I find it easier now he doesn't mind me letting him know 😂
My DH is clueless about this whole TTC thing, I try & explain bits but can just see it going over his head, also feel when I say out loud what I am tracking/trying differently each cycle it actually makes me feel a bit insane with how obsessive i become.
Much prefer to pop on here & tell strangers 😂

@CocoW It's probably easier if they don't know the ins and outs of your cycle. Mine is just aware that there's 2 days for each cycle that I'm the most fertile.

I forgot to give DH the heads up tonight and he has gone out for a run after DS's bedtime so won't be back till 8.30. I will maybe ambush him when he gets out of the shower. He usually likes that, at least 😂

AimeeT90 · 13/02/2020 20:37

Hi Everyone!
Can I join in with this? Me and my husband have been trying for a baby since last May, unfortunately it's been difficult for us this time despite the fact we have children already. Most of the time I haven't caught, and then we've had 3 miscarriages during this time too.
We've been tracking ovulation but doing it all wrong! Luckily we're under gynae now and think we may have hit the nail on the head this month. Fingers crossed.

I only have 25 day cycles, so currently 4dpo and AF is due on the 22nd. We're keeping it super quiet from family now so would be nice to talk to someone xx

AimeeT90 · 13/02/2020 20:42

@A08x I ovulated 2 days after my first positive OPK, according to my cramps, or 12 hours after my surge had supposedly ended x

Mycrazylife85 · 13/02/2020 22:31

@CocoW yes!! I completely agree! I have no idea to say "I'm due to ovulate soon" without sounding like an absolute idiot (in my head) 😂

uisage · 14/02/2020 09:22

@AimeeT90 I'm sorry to hear that, hopefully things go smoothly for you this time.

@Mycrazylife85 I usually just get naked, that does the trick for him. No explaining required. Although I do tell him that I'm due to ovulate as well.

Who is hoping to make a Valentine's day baby? 🌹🍾👶

3isthemagic · 14/02/2020 21:49

I think I'm on similar timing as got my positive OPK on Wed & managed to DTD 3 nights in a row since (following SMEP) so hopefully covered our bases. Natural cycles says I'm ovulating today, Femometer says I ovulated already on Sunday so who knows? I'm more inclined to go with the OPK result as that fits with my CM as well.

When will people start testing?

A08x · 14/02/2020 23:04

Seems like we are all quite in sync with one another in terms of OV day!

I don’t know about any of you, but I am bloody knackered. My Flo app initially said I was due to ovulate last weekend, so we were DTD from start of last week, then as per OPKs didn’t actually happen until yesterday!! I tell you 13 straight days of that I will be happy to not see a naked man for a while 😂

@CocoW @Mycrazylife85 I vary between a cheeky text while he’s at work, or else catch him off guard at random times, or (no judging) in the spirit of V day I bought some naughty underwear 😂. He does know when I’m ovulating so it’s an attempt to keep things interesting.

@AimeeT90 so sorry about your miscarriages, sending love ❤️ We too are keeping quiet from family so it’s lovely to be able to share in here xx

Mlou32 · 14/02/2020 23:15

Can I please join too? Smile My first fertile day starts on Sunday. I've been diagnosed with endometriosis and just had my laparoscopy and also a hysteroscopy last month so I'm hoping that cleared things up a bit and I'll be able to conceive now! We've been trying for around a year and a half so hopefully it'll be soon for us.

In regards to OPK strips, I just use the cheapies out of poundland, a box of 5 for £1. I track my period on my Fitbit app and my predicted day of ovulation (day 14 of my cycle) always seems to coincidence with the LH surge that the strips pick up so I think they're pretty accurate.

bribri1997 · 15/02/2020 19:08

I’m also going to join if Ok. My first month ttc so I’m new around here lol. I’m due my AF on 25th said my fertile week was this week so have been dtd 9,11,12,14 and will tonight aswell. When are you all going to test?

Mlou32 · 15/02/2020 21:37

@bribri1997 good luck to you! My fertile week doesn't start till tomorrow, ovulation on the 21st, so I probably won't start testing till maybe 7dpo, the 28th Feb. Probably a bit too early but that's when I'll start!

Mycrazylife85 · 16/02/2020 09:55

I'm going to step off the bus.. ☺️ it's very obvious to me that in going to have a long cycle. My body is gearing up to ovulate but can't quite manage it. My temp chart is all over the place! We've dtd Thursday and yesterday morning and my bits are sore this morning 😳🤦🏻‍♀️ My bits definitely couldn't do the SMEP, I'm done, also with using OPKs and temping, although I'll continue to temp. I'm off to the doctors Wednesday with my husbands SA results and then they can refer me to fertility specialists (his was good). I have PCOS but despite having cycles anything between 37-89 days, because I'm not overweight I don't feel I get taken as seriously. My doctor who was fabulous has just started maternity leave (the irony) so let's see what the next one says. Good luck everyone. I'm off to visit my friend and all her children 🤷🏻‍♀️😔

bribri1997 · 16/02/2020 13:01

Good luck! @Mlou32 keep us all posted x

CocoW · 16/02/2020 14:05

@Mycrazylife85 sorry to hear your off the bus! Sounds like you've had tough TTC journey.
Hope you get more answers from your appointment on Wednesday ♥️

@Mycrazylife85 Hopefully you get another good doctor. Good luck in the rest of your journey

@bribri1997 Good luck on your first cycle! I am not planning on test until I'm 2 days late. I did an early test for DS1, and it was negative so early testing clearly doesn't work for me (it doesn't for all women). Plus there's obviously the risk of getting your hopes up for a chemical.

DH was in the hot tub a couple of times the week before last so I'm worried about his sperm count. I think he might have scuppered our chances for the next few months. I usually only DTD every other day but might sneak an extra one in there tonight because I should be ovulating around now.

AimeeT90 · 17/02/2020 19:04

Evening everyone!
Just thought I would update you all, I've been having so many symptoms over the last couple of days but tried not to get my hopes up (I've had zero symptoms when I've gone on to miscarry).

Anyway, took a test this morning and got my BFP and a bout of morning sickness 😊 never been so happy to feel queasy!!

Hopefully this one will stick and you'll all get your BFP soon too ❤

Juno231 · 17/02/2020 19:22

@aimeet90 omg congratulations! Especially after your miscarriages ♥️. Did you do anything differently this month? You mentioned being "under gynae" but I have no idea what that means lol.

paintfairy · 17/02/2020 19:49

@AimeeT90 how were you getting the tracking wrong? Might help the rest of us! Lol.

I'm 5dpo ish. So 11 days to go!

CocoW · 17/02/2020 20:10

@AimeeT90 Congratulations ♥️🥰

AimeeT90 · 18/02/2020 09:13

I was dtd on the days of my positive opk, but it seems I have two days of lh surge and then ovulate after that, so this month we made sure we made the time on everyday and a day after.

I meant I'm under the gynaecologist, this month was the first month that we were supposed to have some tests done to find out why we are having the recurring miscarriages but hopefully this will be our month, just the wait now and hopefully we'll get to our first scan 🤞

Raizelrea · 18/02/2020 17:43

Hi everyone, hope I can join in! We have been TTC since June, not entirely sure if ai ovulated this month since my cycle's just been odd after an unusually light AF at the beginning of the month. One of my cheapie OPKs from last week looks positive in hindsight but it didn't seem it on the day, and had no static smiley on CB opk. All of my CM has dried up now though (sorry for TMI), so if I haven't ovulated yet I don't see it happening at all this month. Not overly opimistic this month because of it, but we DTD every day bar one last week so can't say I haven't tried 😄 good luck to all!

A08x · 18/02/2020 19:14

Congratulations @AimeeT90 amazing news ❤️

gingerglitter4ever · 18/02/2020 20:01

Hi ladies! Hope it’s ok I join as well! Currently 9 DPO with AF due the 24th. This is my 4th cycle TTC after taking my Mirena our in the fall (the birth control I used for 7 yrs)

I feel like it’s been and interesting couple of months getting to know my body again and figuring out what “normal” and not but this month I feel super calm. It’s the first month I’ve been tracking BBT and I just so cool about it all, I have no idea what happened but I’m just rollin with it 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had a temp drop and some mild cramping Sunday / Monday at 7/8 DPO and have been slightly bloated and a bit headachy but no other crazy symptoms

Not sure if I’ll test before my missed AF, I don’t know if I dare to go there after being so calm all month 😂
