UNUSUAL SPOTTING

Evening,
Last night I noticed brown blood when wiping, followed by mild, period like cramps. This morning I had the same, but with slight light red mixed in.
This evening all cramping has completely stopped.
This is so unusual for me. I’ve been on birth control since I was 18, now 25 (implant, now mini for past 4 years). I have never had a period in this time until the end of December 2019 for 8 days, nothing January and now this.
Should I be worried?
I appreciate any comments :)

Update: I have no cramps whatsoever, nausea this morning and lower back pain. I’ve noticed the finest of red blood when I wipe and a little on my liner. Could this just be a period? I’m literally freaking out.
Any comments would be so greatly received x

I'm afraid I don't have any answers, but I'm in the same boat. Spotting since Sunday and all cramps have gone away. Just backache now and sort of feel like I'm getting a cold 😩

Did I understand correctly that you are currently on birth control?

If you're on the pill, then I think it's pretty common to have spotting. At least according to all my googling last night 😂 it said that a common reason for spotting was birth control. But I'd test if I was you, just to make sure you're not pregnant (because it can happen on the pill)

I’m also feeling congested and coldy.
I am on the mini pill, have been for the past 4 years, before that the implant and in 7 years I haven’t had one period, not even symptoms of when my cycle should be.
I’m just confused as to why I’d suddenly have a proper period the end of December and now this spotting.
I stopped taking the pill just because I’m worried just in case I were pregnant.
Before December I’d completely forgotten what it felt like to have a cycle so it’s most probably that but I’m just such a worrier and overthinker.

I’m going to test in a couple of days just to see if I get my monthly and go from there x
