EWCM

Hi all

On Thursday 6th after wiping I noticed an incredible amount of EWCM which I've never really noticed before. That evening of course I DTD however since yesterday I've been having clear / stretchy / sticky CM (not sure if this is EWCM).

Does anyone know what this means? I'll DTD tonight however if it is EWCM why am I getting this 4 days later?

I know it's gruesome but the first photo is the 6th and the second photo is the 10th CM.

@mlax I'm on cycle day 16 and I just got a close positive on an opk this evening I haven't had any ewcm until that this evening after dtd so I wondering what it was but left it until I seen your post! Hopefully someone can help us out lol

@NicoleR14 I've only been using OPK's since the 7th so not sure if I was actually ovulating on CD16 when it was that huuuge amount of EWCM (I'd like to think I was..?)

Then since using them from the 7th it's been negatives and then started to peak up this morning at 11:29 then I did another one at 16:48 and was back down to a negative... so strange!!! I've DTD anyway but so confused with those CM's!! Xx

This ewcm looked like mine when I was ovulating, both times I noticed this ewcm I DTD and both times I conceived. We of course dtd all other months but this ewcm didn't happen every month for me, I'd say positive sign of good ovulation. Your ewcm will change to a more fertile stretchy type until your ovulation ends.

@maria2bela thank you. Is both photos then ewcm? Just different consistencies / colours? I've never really noticed it before pre-MC (happened in November 2019) and me and my DP are TTC now with this being the first month.

When I had that on the 6th, I DTD on the evening as I was at work when I wiped that. The second photo was this morning and DTD an hour ago! But not DTD in between those dates. Hopefully I've caught on 😩 so exhausting!!

@mlax I was tracking cm I haven't did any opks this month until today I had a feeling I was ovulating so I checked this evening and was! That's gave me some hope that things might be positive this month!

I'd say the second is EWCM only, the other is way way too thick. It needs to be thin and slippy. If you had sex around the same time as the first picture I'd say this is CM and sperm coagulated

Buy that I mean have had sex a few days prior to the first picture

@Mycrazylife85 I last had sex on the 2nd Feb prior to the CM on the 6th so can't imagine that would be it. I've never had that before anyway but as I've mentioned anyway, I've not really looked out for it as I was never TTC until now.

Can anyone else help me out?? X
