Positive Ovulation test??!!

Help me!! I have just done an ovulation test and I’m not sure if this is positive or not, I can see a faint line can anyone help me. I sooo want it to be positive x

It is positive - but I couldn't tell you if this was before or after ovulation (I.e the very start and you caught it or it was yesterday's) but I say go DTD and you're in for a shot 🤗😂

I think it has to be as dark as the control line to be positive.

An OPK has to be as dark or darker than the control line to be positive. Every OPK I did looked like that and my peak was really dark. When was your LMP?

You should also try and test at multiple points throughout the day in case you miss it. I found mine was mostly in the evening and, when I only tested in the morning, I was missing it.

My last monthly period ended the 18th January, so do you think this is negative then? X

I would say, unless you have quite long cycles, you should have ovulated by now. Did you have EWCM?

That’s not a positive OPK unfortunately.

No I haven’t, my periods are quite irregular xx

If your period ended on 18th Jan then you would be more likely to start your next period now than ovulate.

It’s negative. The lines have to be similar in colour or the test line darker than the control line

That’s a very negative opk but keep testing!!! They may go from that to purple in a day

I have quite a long irregular cycle and mine looked like that for most of the month, they got slightly darker and I thought oh this is it, it must be. I got all excited and guessed I'd OVd but decided to keep testing each day anyways to track my cycle and was so shocked one morning when the line appeared SO dark! As dark as the control line. That was about 5-6 days after I thought I had! Keep testing xx

Sorry it's negative. The lines need to be equally dark or the test line darker than the control line x
