Cd21 test help

Hi! I’m getting my cd21 blood test for progesterone on Friday, however I have been doing my opks and only just got a positive one now (cd17) so will likely be ovulating tomorrow! this has never happened before so I’m so frustrated, Will my cd21 test be invalid? Should I let gp know and change appointment to later? Or leave it?

Id change your appointment. Otherwise it'll show low progesterone and show you aren't ovulating when you are. My bloods clinic holds back emergency appointments for people who need them taken on certain days of their cycles so hopefully you can change it xx
