Nexplanon Removal

So I had my nexplanon implant removed last Wednesday (5th) as will be ttc in a couple of months all being well.

Yesterday (9th) I had bad cramping and then started bleeding. However the strange thing is that it stopped after a very short time. I have had the same thing today (cramping, small bleed and then stopped again).
I’ve heard about withdrawal bleeding, is this a thing after having nexplanon removed or could it be a period?
I have had regular ‘periods’ whilst on nexplanon and wasn’t due on again for another week or so but it all seems a bit quick for things to be back to ‘normal’ so soon!
Just wondered if anyone else had experienced this or could shed some light!

Thanks! :)

I had my nexplanon removed on 2 jan and bled for the following 4 days. I started opks and had a solid smily on the 15th and then AF arrived on the 28th. And then a positive opk today. So I think what I’m trying to say is that after all the doom and gloom about struggles to get a cycle back after nexplanon, it seems that I’ve fallen into a cycle so it can happen! 🤞🤞
