I've just started using these. It said to start day 7 according to my cycle. I did. Was a blank circle.

Today is day 8. It's a flashing face already! Is that right this early?

My question is- how many days does it usually flash for, before you get peak? And am I supposed to now test twice a day? Because I think I'll run out of sticks if I do?

Last month I ovulated day 11 (I think) but usually its more like day 13. (Based on bbt).

Once it starts flashing, you continue to test each morning. When it gets a solid smiley, you stop testing for that month.
I found it would flash between one and three days before going solid.

So you don't need to test more than once a day? The instructions kind of indicate you should? That's why I was unsure.

Hmmm. I suppose flashing 3 days makes sense. Would put me actually ovulating day 12. We shall see then!

You should test more than once a day once you get your flashing smiley face @paintfairy because otherwise you could miss your surge.

Last month I got my static at 8pm (I had tested in the morning and at 2pm too) but if I had waited until the following morning I may have missed it.

I use the cheap dip sticks too and start using my clearblue more than once each day as the lines start to get darker

Thanks. That's what I thought. Just with only 10 sticks i don't want to do that and then run out! I've got some one step opks though. So I'll maybe use those alongside it, to save wasting too many.
