Hey everyone! Can someone help me my lmp was 8/1/20 but I know I didn’t ovulate until 27/28th of Jan.... would I count from my lmp making me 4 weeks, 4 days? Or would you go off ovulation date and add on 2 weeks? Really confused 😩 I normally ovulate on day 14 so the fact it’s been more day 19 I’m wondering how far along I really am xx

Pregnancies are always counted from the first day of your last period ie the first day of the cycle you conceived in. Even though for the first two weeks you haven't even ovulated and the next two weeks the egg is being fertilised and attaching to the womb lining.

Thank you, I thought maybe I wasn’t far as I thought because the tests had been negative and still very faint now! X

You will only technically have conceived within a day of ovulation.

Do you could only be about 12dpo. So a faint line at this stage is probably to be expected.
