March bus

Just thought I'd start a March bus for anyone just edging into the next month for testing/AF due!

I'll start with my stats:

Trying for baby #2 with a 2.5yo DD
Cycle 2 (although first full cycle after having the implant removed)
CD1 today
AF/BFP due sometime after 5th March depending on what my cycle wants to do this month!

Well my app has had a recalculate and decided today is now my most fertile day, a little earlier than expected! So it looks like I’m on the same timings as you both @Franklydear and @karenkeys , I can’t decide how long I’ll be able to wait to test!

Franklydear · 21/02/2020 13:30

@elysiann I’ve been testing so much ( many times) I’ve decided no more testing until a week late and that is Friday 13th, and what will be, will be.

Elmlee · 21/02/2020 14:38

Beep beep!
I've got my ticket for the March bus! Destination hopefully BFP Central and not the connecting bus to April Bus 🤞🤞

Tested today, according to Ovia 13DPO. BFN!

Really felt like I wanted it this cycle... we've chatted going to up sex to every other day as it's 3 times a week as it stands.

On the up point, we've baked today and I have a ice cold bottle of fizz in the fridge I will enjoy before going back to work Monday.

I'm 29 in April and my husband will be 28... we are both excited... really didn't ideally want a December baby but I've said they will have a 1/2 birthday if that becomes the case!

Currently on CD48 which is really worrying me... going to leave it until March and see my GP and see if they have any ideas to help. Also welcome to any after my lovely TTC buddies 🥰

karenkeys · 21/02/2020 15:11

@Elmlee welcome!

@elysiann I’m hoping to wait until AF is due on 4-5th March but I have a feeling I’ll end up using a cheapie on the weekend before at around 10 DPO. 😬

Paws89 · 21/02/2020 15:52

Hi all Im a few days in to the TWW so jumping on board the March bus.

AF due on the 4th March so fingers crossed she doesn’t appear!

Cycle 2 for me but DH has been fully on board and tracking ovulation with me so has been a dream this month. I have been working away from home for the past few months but luckily over my fertile week I have been home so fingers crossed!

I’m attempting not to symptom spot this cycle so need to make myself busy!

littletandme · 21/02/2020 16:11

So I got an even higher peak OPK yesterday, but back to just high today so fingers crossed ovulation is today! That means I'll be testing from around 3rd March Smile

So there's a few of us due af around 4-5 th march... Or bfp, nice to have company

Newbie0818 · 21/02/2020 17:50

Can I join? Think af will be due first few days in March and would like some testing buddies :)

26yo, ttc since December, irregular periods after coming off the pill in August. Ovulated really pretty late month (cd27) but I got a positive opk yesterday (cd19) and alight cramps. Didn’t even realise the Sperm meets egg method was a thing but we’ve been doing it unknowingly! Using pre-seed. The lot.

Anyone else as crazy as me? X

Newbie0818 · 21/02/2020 17:50

Really late last month*

littletandme · 21/02/2020 20:18

@Newbie0818 we are all crazy here! We may be ovulation buddies, I'm just waiting to see if my temp has increased further in the morning to confirm ovulation, the two OPKs I have done today are definitely not positive so fingers crossed it will. I've ran out of OPKs now so can't do any more tomorrow.

My fem app is saying I ovulated yesterday but I'm not too sure unless it was early hours of the morning.

@Newbie0818 we are all crazy!! I’ve not been tracking OPK so if it doesn’t happen this month this is something I’ll try next. I’m on CD14 now, my app has my fertile window from tomorrow with ovulation next Thursday but I’ve had some EWCM the past few days and we’ve been DTD every 2 day’s this week and plan to keep that up so fingers crossed we catch it whenever it happens.

Newbie0818 · 21/02/2020 21:13

Thanks for the replies @littletandme and @Sdoo4 I always said I wouldn’t turn into the obsessive tracking lady when I tried for a baby, but low and behold here I am! They spend so much time teaching kids how NOT to get pregnant that when you do try to get pregnant it’s a massive learning curve! Who knew it would be so hard. I swear everyone else I know just sneezes and it happens!

Sdoo4 · 21/02/2020 21:36

@Newbie0818 it’s so hard to be relaxed about it. This is our second month of trying but first at giving it a proper go. Last month we DTD a few times during what I thought was my fertile window and that was it. Any sort of twinge I google symptoms then AF was later than expected so you get your hopes up. I know it won’t happen right away but can only hope, everyone seems to be pregnant or feels like it happens so easily for everyone else but you never know what they’ve went through either. They could’ve been trying for a long time.

Lola871 · 21/02/2020 21:42

Evening all. I'm not due to ov until Thursday or Friday next week but have had quite a lot of EWCM today so going to make sure we DTD this weekend in case of is coming early. Will start OPKs tomorrow to see if anything comes up on those. I've not really tracked CM before so not sure how long before ov it normally starts - does anyone else track it and can tell me how it works for them? Thanks!

Newbie0818 · 21/02/2020 22:00

Well said @Sdoo4 I think patience is key. Even if it is annoying!

@lola871 my periods have been all over the place so I’ve been using opk’s and trying to track my cervix position. My cm seems to be quite difficult to track, but the position of my cervix itself seems to be in line with the positive opk’s so that’s promising I suppose. Always low position when I’m positive on an opk. Apparently charting bbt is the most reliable but I haven’t tried that yet

Franklydear · 21/02/2020 22:00

@Newbie0818,I managed to catch a stomach bag, right round the time my period was due/light...last month, morning sickness anyone?

Franklydear · 21/02/2020 22:01

Bug, not bag🤦🏼‍♀️

paintfairy · 21/02/2020 22:46

@Newbie0818 Same! Took me literally no time at all turning into an obsessive manic. 😂

Agree about school. But then tv programmes/ films give that illusion too?

Newbie0818 · 22/02/2020 08:50

@Franklydear who knows! Did af arrive?

@paintfairy it’s true. I can’t cope with watching the Clearblue digital adverts anymore 😭

Franklydear · 22/02/2020 10:00

@Newbie0818, well, that’s the thing, I had light bleeding for two days, not much quantity, I though it could be implantation bleeding, because I had that on my first pregnancy, but a week later had a negative test, it could have been a very light period, became really obsessed so decided to wait until next af, if it doesn’t come, I will be either 5 weeks or 9 🤷🏼‍♀️

Newbie0818 · 22/02/2020 15:20

Wow well done for being so patient @Franklydear I definitely wouldn’t be able to! Seeing that bfn is horrible though so I don’t blame you for waiting. So when is your next af due (assuming the two days was a light one that is)?

karenkeys · 22/02/2020 17:06

I feel like I have to test a bit early to watch for a second chemical pregnancy... don’t they say if you get a few in a row you should get checked out incase something is up?

calimommy · 22/02/2020 17:08

@karenkeys yes thyroid levels

karenkeys · 22/02/2020 17:18

Thought so @calimommy! I’m going to test next weekend with a cheapie to see what the deal is.

calimommy · 22/02/2020 17:22

The thing is even if you test early or test late, a pregnancy can be lost at any time. Hopes are always going to be dashed regardless of whether it was 3 weeks or 11 weeks (my second miscarriage). Testing at any time doesn't cause the loss any more than telling people before 12 weeks or drinking coffee. It's always hard xx
