March bus

Just thought I'd start a March bus for anyone just edging into the next month for testing/AF due!

I'll start with my stats:

Trying for baby #2 with a 2.5yo DD
Cycle 2 (although first full cycle after having the implant removed)
CD1 today
AF/BFP due sometime after 5th March depending on what my cycle wants to do this month!

@Franklydear yes I did wonder if I'd physically be able to "stop trying", probably not!

I am CD14 today as well and most likely ovulating today/tomorrow

@paintfairy what do you think of chart, I think Fem might be a bit over excited saying I ov'd yesterday as I only got my first peak opk last night and temp still isn't above 36.4. Think I'll see a higher temp in the morning instead? My temps have been all over the shop this cycle, last month was way less erratic.

@littletandme I'm surprised it logs it. My app won't give a day until after the 3 high days, so there's no confusion. 1 high day can be an anomaly.

@paintfairy yeah I thought that, Fem had been all confused since my early peak opk on CD7 😂

@Franklydear my first 4 pregnancies I tested 6 days before af 😂 and got BFP! The 5th I didn't get a BFP until after af was due. I was so sure of my dates that time that it was v confusing. I've done two tests already this cycle and both were negatives, I have one left from the box and I'm trying to hold out. AF is due either today or Saturday. 😬

@littletandme I have gotten 4 +OPK this cycle but I only logged one (the one I Hope was the real one) because my apps don't know what to make of it. I just noted the other three instead.

@calimommy, in my pregnancy I tested positive really late, I also had implantation bleeding that I had mistaken for a period, so was really much further along that I though, haven’t done the 2ww before, it’s driven me crazy

@ApplePie86 I don't think we'll stop trying next month even though due date would be 21st December. I just think with the chances being fairly low each month anyway I wouldn't want to miss one. And I could get pregnant the next month and it come early so what different does it make really!

Tbh even though it's fun getting a BFP ASAP, it's also a pain because you are still on tender hooks till af date passes. Plus then you have to keep it to yourself for even longer. Although tbh after the two miscarriages I stopped keeping pregnancies a secret, I just don't announce them as such till later on. But if I was out with friends I'd just quietly decline a drink and say I'm early pregnant. I lost the pregnancies at 9&11 weeks so it pissed me off that once they were gone it was like they didn't matter. Anyho I've rambled a bit there ha!

Unfortunately I think af will come today. Balls!

@paintfairy @littletandme Fem put my on 18th and confirmed it today because of 2 higher temps but when you say they're not high enough, I got 36.32 yesterday and 36.45 today, what is it meant to be?

@franklydear the implantation bleeding you mistook for af, what was it like? Ive never had implantation bleeding but this months af was shorter than the last although i tested negative the day it started.

@anon87 it might rise slowly over a few days. It doesn't always just shoot up high. Mine will often sit around 36.7 or 36.8 but everyone is different. But this month (although I can't get enough sleep to get proper temps) it seems around 36.67.

@hatepicking, it was like a light short period,... I had one just like it last af and got my hopes up...

Hi ladies sorry I've been quiet. I was just having some quiet time while af was with me. I have been trying to keep up tho 🙂

@ApplePie86 We're not taking a break, I'm happy with my baby being born whenever... DH's best friend has his bday Xmas day and my SIL is boxing day so Xmas birthdays don't really bother us much as we're already used to celebrating birthdays around that time. I'd just be happy for a baby... It would be the best Xmas gift!!!!

I'm on cycle 3 TTC #1... Currently CD 8 and predicted ovulation is the 1st week in March (around my 30th birthday). We had a good talk after af arrived this cycle and DH is 100% on board with TTC and he proposed BD every 2-3days for the whole cycle... I'm actually a little unsure how we'd fit it all in but as he's 100% on board this baby making train I'm going with the flow lol 🤞🏻

It's actually feels good to have us both on the same page... Hopefully will help us keep the BD feeling less regimental and more fun!!! 🤞🏻 How are you guys keeping it less regimental in the bedroom? Has anyone managed it? X

@Sausage1990 Sorry to dive in straight to sex but you asked 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 We've been a little more spontaneous, although we know what we're trying to do, we're not just timing it to bedtime and always in the bedroom.

Sometimes a quickie in the morning, maybe a cheeky one on the couch when DD is at one of her clubs, SIL conservatory when we stayed over one night 😂 Nothing special but keeps us on ur toes lol. We recently got a new mattress which is soooo much taller than the last one which has improved a few positions too.

There's nights (when we know we can have a night off) that we've had some fun and it's not always been about the actual sex, I think that's stopped him feeling like a piece of meat 😂

@Anon87 all I can say is the pill had a bigger effect on libido than I realised

@Sausage1990 I don’t go into the specifics of the fertile week/ovulation with him. He knows I test to see when it’s happening, but I don’t tell him when it is because I don’t want it to be forced or for him to feel pressured. He’s just loving that I seem to be initiating it more atm 😂

@Franklydear There was a few of us on about this the other day. We've spent so many years on all these contraceptives that we never knew what our norm was... Until now...

I had tiny mini cramps yesterday, ovulation should be today, allegedly, dtd lots on the week prior, is the madness starting?...I am supposed to wait a good 3 weeks before testing...🧘🏼

@MrsB2019x @Sausage1990 it’s no use giving him details, apparently I can analyse all I want, it won’t happen any quicker and won’t have confirmation any earlier.... but I want it yesterday

@franklydear sounds like mine! He gets well grumpy if I go on. Says I'm obsessed. 🤪

I’ve managed to have sex every 2 days during the fertile week and I should have ovulated yesterday. I found the first cycle was as good as our usual sex life is. This cycle however felt a little bit more of a chore. I think it’s because we both know this was would be our last chance to have a baby this year and the realisation this will be hard after the false hope with the chemical pregnancy in cycle 1.

I mentioned to my husband yesterday that next cycle I should maybe keep the ovulation date a secret but he said he would like to know 😑 It’s fair enough but I think it will be less fun if he does know. You like to think you’re being propositioned because you want to have sex and not because you have to!

So the 2WW has began today for me...

But @paintfairy we are perfectly reasonable, who doesn’t check every little symptom and test 3 times a month? Who?

@franklydear 🤣 well neither would I, if it wasn't my body and I could just carry on oblivious. How I wish I was a man!

@karenkeys be thankful he's interested! Lol. If in the mood, it isn't a chore. But some months its bound to be inconvenient on that week. I felt a bit that way this month.
