March bus

littletandme · 07/02/2020 12:43

Just thought I'd start a March bus for anyone just edging into the next month for testing/AF due!

I'll start with my stats:

Trying for baby #2 with a 2.5yo DD
Cycle 2 (although first full cycle after having the implant removed)
CD1 today
AF/BFP due sometime after 5th March depending on what my cycle wants to do this month!

Think there seems to be quite a few of us ovulating around the same time. I’m CD14 today, app predicts OV today but I don’t think it will be for another 2/3 days.

Strength in numbers right...? 🤞

littletandme · 22/02/2020 20:09

No real big temp increase this morning and I've ran out of OPKs! Pretty sure ovulation must have been Thursday night or yesterday though, didn't DTD last night as DH was not up for it at all after two nights on the trot. May try to persuade him tonight but not hopeful! So either 1 or 2dpo today I think and plan on testing on 3rd March 🤞🏻

@Newbie0818 next af due on the 6th, I want to test on the 13th, so if it was af 5 weeks, if it wasn’t 9, nobody has ever did ribs me as patient so I need all the help I can’t get. The negative was horrible, I got the little bleeding, sore breath and the sickness, I was so sure😩

Franklydear · 22/02/2020 21:01

Sore breast, not breath🤢

Newbie0818 · 22/02/2020 21:50

Well my fingers and toes are crossed for you @franklydear !

I’m super tired and crampy today. Only 1dpo and already symptom spotting ugh

Franklydear · 22/02/2020 21:59

Thank you, is it bad to google ovulation and implantation symptoms already....

littletandme · 23/02/2020 08:07

My temp is still low today 😭 I'm so confused, I slept okay last night too from 10.30-5.30! I want to chuck out my thermometer and just wait till AF is due but I find it so hard to relax about this. Last month after ovulation my temperature was 36.55-36.7 every day and this time it's not even hitting 36.45. Doesn't help that I've had some weird high temps in the first half of my cycle 😩

Newbie0818 · 23/02/2020 09:04

@Franklydear it is, but I still do it haha! Although not as bad as last month.

@littletandme I’ve never temped before so I have no idea how it works, but it might be worth trying other methods if you haven’t already? I use opk’s and track my cervix position everyday, as well as cm (although that one doesn’t seem to work well for me). Is it maybe worth getting a blood test? My doctor has put me through for one to see if I am actually ovulating after a positive opk or not. Try not to stress too much :( I hate when people say that to me but it does affect everything internally too.

paintfairy · 23/02/2020 09:39

@littletandme I found that. I've stopped doing it because it was driving me batty. I have ovulated because my boobs now tell me so. Lol. But I was worrying I hadn't. Still not sleeping mind.

Newbie0818 · 23/02/2020 11:26

@paintfairy weird question but how can you tell from your boobs? I swear mine get “fuller” at some points during the month (usually after my fertile period), but I can never tell if I’m just looking for changes?

NChangeForNoReason · 23/02/2020 11:34

Half way through my 2ww - I keep getting cramps and thinking the worst (period), then the best (implantation), then I do a big trump and realise it was just wind!!!

Rollercoaster Confused

paintfairy · 23/02/2020 11:37

@Newbie0818 Mine always hurt. Round the sides. And feel bigger. This month they are actually hurting at the front more. Its unmistakable. Usually starts just after ovulation and lasts until AF, although they seemed late this month. Not everyone gets painful boobs though as a pms symptom so obviously then that wouldn't help. Lol.
I always feel more confident going out dressed up though- they look better. 😁

littletandme · 23/02/2020 12:57

@paintfairy that's so strange because when I was on the implant, I would always get sore boobs about two weeks before my period arrived, but as I was so irregular I didn't think much of it, and the implant is meant to stop ovulation! I wonder if it was connected, one thing that gave me a bit of hope last month was that I didn't get sore boobs at all before AF turned up, obviously that means nothing as I wasn't pregnant 🤦🏻‍♀️

Franklydear · 23/02/2020 13:17

Last month, my boobs got so sore and full that my bra hardly fit anymore, they’ve gone back to normal, obviously meant nothing

karenkeys · 23/02/2020 13:25

I found mines weren’t sore at all last month with the chemical pregnancy, when usually the week before AF they hurt

Newbie0818 · 23/02/2020 13:41

Thanks for the info. I never ever had sore boobs before coming off the pill and every month since then my nipples were super painful, almost burning. This month it has t happened though. The body is a weird and wonderful thing. Wish we could see inside with a microscope instead of waiting so long!

paintfairy · 23/02/2020 14:20

I think it's your bodies reaction to the hormones and everyone is different. Plus some months your body reacts differently to others.

Newbie0818 · 23/02/2020 14:49

Definitely.

Another question for everyone - to run or not to run in the tww/ early pregnancy? I know it’s ridiculous because some people even lift heavy weights during pregnancy, but I’m paranoid it’ll “dislodge” or something if I go running? Is this silly?

Franklydear · 23/02/2020 14:55

To worry is not silly, if you should, I don’t know, but the nhs website says there is very little you can do that’ll stop the implantation process...

calimommy · 23/02/2020 15:00

@Newbie0818 I go to the gym almost everyday and that's not going to change. I'm also on my feet constantly looking after DCs. It won't fall out! X

karenkeys · 23/02/2020 15:43

I think intense workouts are not recommended during pregnancy but that’s probably further on. I’m sure some running will be fine if you usually do it. Suddenly starting might be a bad idea if you don’t though. I don’t do much running or intense cardio - mostly just brisk walking and cycling.

Newbie0818 · 23/02/2020 18:35

Thanks all :)

Mockingbird0805 · 23/02/2020 21:27

Currently on day 3 of flashing smiley face on the cb OPK hoping to see that solid face in the next day or so. Don't think I can afford another pack this month 🤣

Lola871 · 24/02/2020 07:49

CD14 today, OPK this morning starting to progress so hoping to ov in the next couple of days.

@Newbie0818 I'm pretty sure running is fine! Everyone I know that has had a baby has continued their normal exercise in the early stages of pregnancy.

Juno231 · 24/02/2020 08:06

Pretty sure the witch arrived today so I guess that means I'm graduating from the Feb bus to the March bus! AF is weirdly two days early this time around which messes with my ovulation prediction but I think it means I'll ovulate on the 7th. Will start doing OPKs on the 4th to double check though.

BTW I'm TTC #1 and this will just be cycle 2 Smile
