March bus

littletandme · 07/02/2020 12:43

Just thought I'd start a March bus for anyone just edging into the next month for testing/AF due!

I'll start with my stats:

Trying for baby #2 with a 2.5yo DD
Cycle 2 (although first full cycle after having the implant removed)
CD1 today
AF/BFP due sometime after 5th March depending on what my cycle wants to do this month!

Girls I made another mistake. I tested last night at 9dpo! Idiot. Obviously blank white. Omg. Then I got upset with the world.
I wish I could relax 😢😭

paintfairy · 14/03/2020 09:37

@Anon87 I think 4dpo would be ok. We DTD at 9dpo the month before last and I got cramping and bleeding at 10dpo. Never had that before ever. Last month I therefore avoided doing it and I'm now 4dpo and thinking the same. I'd maybe risk today, but not in a few days time. Just in case.

whatsthecraic91 · 14/03/2020 10:11

Hey ladies how are well all?

CD18 for me and I still haven't ovulated!! This will be the second month in a row it's late and I don't know why! So annoying!!

@Adrianoska I agree with others you need to chill out!! and I mean that in the nicest way possible 😊 why don't you and DP go away for a wee spa weekend or something?

Franklydear · 14/03/2020 14:45

I am succeeding in chilling, so far, cd14 and had cramps for a couple of days, but nothing else and more importantly not caring.
Congratulations to bfps and fingers crossed for the hopefuls, I'll try not to wonder until the end of the month

calimommy · 14/03/2020 14:57

Pretty relaxed here too 👍 7DPO and CD19. My period was short this cycle so my overall cycle prediction is shorter, AF due 22nd. I'm not symptom spotting but I usually get implantation spotting and so far none so feeling a little less positive for the outcome as a result. But we shall see! I've relaxed myself a bit overall, last month was supposed to be our last attempt but I wangled one more month out of him. But with the events going on world wide atm I definitely won't get him to agree to keep going. Also with this working from home we might end up divorcing anyway 😂

Newbie0818 · 14/03/2020 17:07

Hi @whatsthecraic91 I know how you feel with the late ovulation. My first month tracking it I only got a positive opk on CD27, and this time I only got a positive opk on CD20. If I don’t get a bfp tomorrow then I’m sure I’m not actually ovulating at all. My doctor has told me to book a hormone blood test for CD21 of my next cycle, but I can only book it on CD1. I’m currently on CD42 and no signs of af so god knows what I’ll do! It’s so annoying.

I’m never EVER going on the pill again as it’s really messed up my body so much, used to be regular as anything before going on it.

Anon87 · 14/03/2020 19:21

@paintfairy I think it was 8dpo when I was bouncing on a pogo stick in work 😂, my (faint) BFP was 9dpo.
Enjoy yourselves!! 😘

@Anon87 😂

selina37 · 14/03/2020 20:13

Have had AF. Was light-ish. But now I've totally come out in spots on my chin. They will not shift. I'm supposed to be coming up to ovulation and my skin should be lovely and clear right now! My skin changes are usually like clockwork!

Is there any chance I could be...? Feeling pretty emotional too...

Sausage1990 · 14/03/2020 20:31

@calimommy & @Franklydear it's a good feeling to feel calm and relaxed in the TWW 😊 I'm glad we're feeling that way this cycle (so far)

@Adrianoska oh don't worry hunny we've all been there testing way too early. Don't feel too bad 😊 I agree with @whatsthecraic91that you need to do something nice to distract yourself... Something lovely with DH maybe ❤️

Also I 100% agree @newbie0818 the pill really screwed up my cycles and I won't be going back on it ever again. Xx

Newbie0818 · 15/03/2020 08:36

It’s a bfn on a FRER. I think this has just confirmed that there is something wrong with my body now. CD43. Heartbroken.
We’re going to have to halt trying for a couple months now because of flights in December, but good luck to everyone else x

whatsthecraic91 · 15/03/2020 09:57

@Newbie0818 so sorry, it's so frustrating not knowing where your at. I will also never go back on the pill again, I was lucky and mine came back right away but I'm convinced it's the reason I'm having problems now, we've been trying since January 2019 😥

In other news I still haven't fucking ovulated, temp still flat lining, getting annoying now ☹️

Newbie0818 · 15/03/2020 10:14

Thanks @whatsthecraic91 I’ve been a bit of a mess this morning but dh has been so supportive. I’m really thankful. He said one way or another we will get our blessing so I’m trying to follow his positive example.

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble now :( have you been to the doc regarding the ovulation? Perhaps if you get af or a bfn and no af, you could book a dr apt?

Franklydear · 15/03/2020 10:41

@newbie my cycles are all over the place too, too short and hardly any bleeding, I would ask an appointment, at least with the nurse, like for the smears, to put your mind at rest, I will do that if next af is as bizarre as the previous two...

Franklydear · 15/03/2020 10:44

I would be very surprised if it happens this month, hardly any bd at all let alone in the fertile week, and gone out with friend right about ovulation time and gotten not just drunk but totally wasted (I haven’t done that in over a decade, promise😳🤢)

calimommy · 15/03/2020 13:59

Well we are stuck at home (children & husband) for 4 weeks as they have closed the schools and we have to social-distance. Usually the weather is beautiful but it is pouring and I'm literally questioning the meaning of life 🤯😭 haaalp I usually go to the gym everyday and all I have been doing so far is eating and breaking up fights. I'd rather have the corona.

selina37 · 15/03/2020 14:09

Omg @calimommy I feel for you. I can't believe this corona stuff is happening... I dreading the world coming to a standstill and what's going to happen next...

Adrianoska · 15/03/2020 15:12

That's so bad! So sorry! But at least you can BD loads? 🙂🤗
Why is your school closed?
I am also worried a little bit about the state of things but I am much more concerned about my tummy than anything else! I am literally obsessed. I am 11 dpo... Didn't test since 9 dpo {negative obviously}. I am so hopeful... But have no symptoms. At all. So probably BFN.
Aghhhhh! 💖

calimommy · 15/03/2020 15:33

All schools are closed and where possible people are working from home. We have to stay away from other people.
Can't BD with three kids hanging off us 😂

Newbie0818 · 15/03/2020 19:07

Yes @Franklydear I would book an apt but my surgery doesn’t have ANY apt’s until about May 😖 it’s ridiculous. Dh said that I should take another test next weekend just to be sure, and then I’ll see if I can speak to my doctor over the phone to get things moving. It’s just worrying.

I’ve always had a massive fear of not being able to have kids and I feel like at 26yo it’s coming true 😰 feeling quite low. But I’ll survive! More concerned that all our schools are still open here and we’re both teachers, so prime Corona targets!

Franklydear · 15/03/2020 19:59

@newbie I hadn't considered not being able to get an appointment, I have a dedicated asthma nurse and often can get same day appointment, I'll be sure not to take her for granted.

Franklydear · 15/03/2020 20:29

I am planning to test next on 3-4 April, that would be a few days after af due, assuming a cycle of 28 days, and also the start of a week of work, so perfect to assume whatever the result in peace

Sausage1990 · 15/03/2020 21:38

@calimommy that's so hard with the kids off school for so long. Where do you live?

No schools near us are closed yet (in South Wales, UK) but I'm sure it will come. I work for the NHS so it's business as usual for now but our clinics will be cancelled soon and the hospitals are preparing for it all. Its a difficult climate but we should all try to remain calm and look after our neighbours and loved ones 😊

I'm currently 11dpo also @Adrianoska and not really feeling anything either... I've got watery and ewcn still but except for that just the usual pre af occasional crampy belly & a small amount of breast tenderness... Trying to not read into anything too much but keeping fingers crossed regardless 🤞🏻

calimommy · 15/03/2020 22:43

@Sausage1990 we live in California. The children are off till the 16th of April 😬
