Hello Smile Two days late for period (was due on Tuesday) and have been having some early pregnancy symptoms (possibly just wishful thinking). Took an early test from asda on Saturday and got a negative but took a Tesco one this morning. I think it's positive but the second line on the cross was quite faint and hardly shows up at all on photo (attached). What do you think? Is it a + or am I seeing things?! Thank you!

I see a line, maybe take again tomorrow to see if it progresses,
I had a similar line 3 days before my missed period

Candycoatedwaterdrops30 · 06/02/2020 06:43

Thank you all. Yes another test in a day or so if still no AF sounds sensible. I don't want to get my hopes up (especially as have miscarried in past) but I'm just so impatient with wanting a definite answer with these things!

I can see a line. I hope it gets darker!

lc86 · 06/02/2020 09:30

I can see it 😊

WonkyGenes · 06/02/2020 11:42

I can see it and im normally not good at seeing them on blue tests!

Michette · 06/02/2020 13:12

I can also see a line but why is it not full?
Never used blue dye so unsure what i means?

Candycoatedwaterdrops30 · 06/02/2020 17:57

I haven't used blue ones before either (ordered in online shop so didn't see colour beforehand) but it said in the leaflet that one line may be fainter. Bought and used a pink dye one this afternoon and pretty sure it's a positive though. Eek!
On a different note I'm worrying a bit now as have taken a fair amount of anti diarrhoea medicine today (loperamide) and turns out it's not recommended for pregnancy Sad I feel so stupid for not even considering it when I took it... guess I'm just not in pregnancy mode in my head yet. Any reassurance would be gratefully received.

It looks positive. Try not to worry about medicine, it's still really early days and placenta hasn't formed yet, so it shouldn't get to baby.

MrsA2015 · 06/02/2020 18:59

That looks well and truly positive to me! And I’m a veteran with lines Grin

MotherAughra · 06/02/2020 20:51

Congratulations!

My dr said that most medication will say that anyway purely because they can't test on expectant mothers, try not to beat yourself up (I know easier said than done)

I've had a previous miscarriage like yourself so anxiously waiting my scan! Keeping everything crossed for you

Michette · 06/02/2020 21:30

Congrats!!!!!!!

Candycoatedwaterdrops30 · 07/02/2020 06:30
