TTC huge temp drop at 4dpo

Please can someone help... been TTC for 5 months now and this is my first month temping. Been using opks too. I had a positive opk on CD 14 and a drop in temp. My temps rose again but had a huge drop at 4dpo followed by a big increase. We baby danced cycle day 12,13,14,15,16. Sorry it’s not much to work with as I started temping on cycle day 11 when my Ava bracelet arrived. Does this chart look promising so far? X

Hmmm. If the opk confirms ovulation that's good, as I wouldn't be sure otherwise. It looks slightly erratic. Have you taken your temp at the same time every day?

Implantation would cause a dip but 4dpo the timing isn't right.

I had another dip yesterday 8dpo x

Your last dip looks quite normal. Are you temping at roughly the same time every day (within an hour or so) after roughly the same amount of sleep, as soon as you wake up and before moving much?

Hey! Thanks for replying. It’s my Ava bracelet temp which stays on all night and gets your temp at rest. I plot it on the FF chart. I had another dip this morning at 8-9dpo. My boobs are sore the odd period type cramp. I am regular very 28 days. This is my chart now x

I’m new to temping too, it’s reassuring to see someone else that has quite low resting temps. I’ve had a couple of dips post ovulation, have no idea if they’re implantation or just environmental, FF has me at 8dpo, app has me at 7dpo, cm & ov pain means I could be 10dpo. Didn’t do OPKs this cycle. I’m finding it interesting though

Yours looks similar to mine! If yours drops this evening 8dpo it will be very much like mine. I’m not sure if my temps are low because I’m using the Ava bracelet which is your skin temperature at rest not your BBT but I’m not sure. I hope it’s your month!!! How are you feeling? It’s such a stressful time isn’t it xx

@Tryingforbabano3 yes I guess that’s why they could be low, my temp is always low even if I’m rushing around, I’m a bit of a cold fish. I don’t really know if my temps look good or not at this stage, I think the huge drop at 5dpo isn’t that accurate as I took it at 5am rather than 6.30, I woke up so thought I’d better take it, I expect if I’d taken it a bit later it would’ve been higher. I’m feeling fine, not really symptom spotting this time, actually no symptoms to spot tbh, just want test day to hurry up. Think this is cycle 5 TTC #5, never had any problems before, had a baby #4 last August but he died shortly after he was born, had 1 period in sept, CP in Oct then nothing since, think it’s stress & a timing DTD issue, OH works away a lot & we seem to miss the window. You certainly managed to DTD lots this cycle so fingers crossed for you

I am so sorry for your loss you must be one very strong lady to be able to deal with it all. I am certain you will get your rainbow baby soon! Must be hard when your partner works away a lot. I think I had a chemical last month. I was getting faint positives lines on two different brands but not sure if they were evaps or not!! I find the whole process so stressful and obsessive! X

@Tryingforbabano3 I don’t think I’m strong, I feel broken most of the time. It’s very stressful which doesn’t help, CPs are cruel, I got a faint positive on FRER at 12dpo with second morning urine & a positive digital so thought things looked good & I started bleeding 4 days later & test was negative after that. I was quite optimistic this month but my temp dropped to 36.2 from 36.4 today so I’m feeling a bit low now

They are awful! I have hear different many people they have happened to!! :( You will get your rainbow baby!!!

@Tryingforbabano3 ah that’s amazing, huge congratulations, all that DTD paid off & at 10dpo too that’s so good. I’m 9-12dpo today but I’m just holding out to test. Hope you have a healthy happy pregnancy 🙂

@sh84 I know I may be trying to revive this post, but what was your outcome? I'm currently having a similar problem. To sum it up:

1. I have been ttc for the past 9 months and nothing yet. Been using opks and have never gotten a positive. Thhought I might just be missing my surge.
2. I went on fertilaid and Fertilecm, this is the second month. DH is also on the male fertilaid.
3. Only started temping this month and only from cycle day 12 I think. On three different apps, including FF, my O day was predicted to be last Sunday due to my temp drop and 3 day rise. My cm was just a small amount of ewcm on cd17 and then just watery all the days following that. Only problem is, today, what was meant to be cd4, my temp dropped below my crosshair coverline. And FF has shifted my o day to cd17. But looking at that, it wouldn't make sense. If you would like, I can attach the chart before today's temp and after including today's temp. Kinda losing my sanity here. Anything would help...
