Hi all ,

I want some company .... currently in my 10 month of TTC after a miscarriage last March at 14 weeks

Due to ovulate around the 10th so my TWW will start around the 11th

Anyone else in the same boat ? Let's keep each other company

Ps I need support not to test early as drove myself mad last month !

Xxx

Enjoy ❤️

MrsChicken89 · 25/02/2020 18:46

Congratulations on all the BFPs, im so jealous Grin

Im still very light spotting, hasnt turned in to amything heavier yet, my back is aching but i think thats from leaning over in the van rather tham AF. Ive also given in & ordered some frers, so they are home for when we get there. So obviously means AF is going to how up tomorrow cos ive jinxed it haha.

LexieBB · 25/02/2020 21:23

@Sammyclaire22 thank you. I’ve got my first appointment booked.

I don’t know that it actually made a difference, but the only thing I did differently this cycle was drink Pink Stork tea during the end of my fertile period (stopping after ovulation) and wear thick socks around the house from ovulation day, on, as there’s advice in Chinese medicine that this helps to keep your uterus warm.

Gobbledygook and hocus pocus? Lol, maybe! But the tea tastes quite nice and who doesn’t like nice cozy socks on winter?

Keeping my fx for everyone else to get their bfps soon! These boards have been an absolute life saver. 🤞🏾❤️

pineapple2 · 25/02/2020 21:27

Ooh that's interesting..love abit of alternative methods..always have big socks on during winter 😊
But might start drinking that tea. Can you get that from Holland and Barrett? Or the internet

Exciting times ahead of you. Wishing all the luck in the world for a smooth pregnancy ❤️

Adrianoska · 25/02/2020 22:36

Omg I need that tea now, 🤣🤣🤣 and 7 pairs of socks!
How I wish it was my turn next!

I should be ovulating in 10 days or so... Just finishing my AF.
As I got older my AF is shorter and lighter I think. And my cycle went from 28 to 25 days

Good luck to everyone ❤️🤞

LexieBB · 25/02/2020 23:55

Got the tea on Amazon. Check out the reviews instructions and ingredients of course.

It could just be a coincidence but can’t hurt to try!

Sammyclaire22 · 26/02/2020 07:56

Soooo I caved again this morning as I had a funny taste (thought it was my cold) and got a shadow on a wilko strip. So used a frer and...

@sammyclaire22 congratulations! Tell us your secret 😜

Sammyclaire22 · 26/02/2020 09:10

@juno231 I don't have one! I've been charting every month since ttc (bbt and opks symptoms and cm) as I only have one tube now and took 12m to conceive anyway first time round.
I've also been taking vitamin b complex, co enzyme 10 and evening primrose on and off this month after someone else recommended them. But I've had very little symptoms, and all are what I have had in the last few months. I think just timing dtd and patience really. Fc it's in the right place and sticky!

Juno231 · 26/02/2020 09:18

@sammyclaire22 12 months! Bless you that must have felt like 12 years. Extra happy for you in that case!!

Adrianoska · 26/02/2020 09:22

Donnat89 · 26/02/2020 09:25

Sammyclaire22 · 26/02/2020 09:34

@juno231 it did, and then it was ectopic and I lost my left tube. But I then got pregnant with my dd the next month, a proper rollercoaster! Expected it to take forever this time too so still don't quite believe it. Ordered more frer to be sure!

Donnat89 · 26/02/2020 09:45

@Charlottethevet congrats looks positive too ! Xxxx

Littlepeas2 · 26/02/2020 10:06

Hi ladies,
Do you mind if I join? I am cycle 2 CD2. I have about a 34 day cycle so have a little while to wait until I ovulate yet! Would be lovely to share the journey with you!!

Donnat89 · 26/02/2020 11:30

@Littlepeas2 welcome to you . We are always looking to share journeys with each other as each of us know how lonely TTC can be . I am going into cycle 11 this month and will ovulate around the 8th (next Sunday) so I have a while too I have 27 day cycles . Xxx

@Charlottethevet @Sammyclaire22 I see the lines!! How many dpo are you? ☺️

Charlottethevet · 26/02/2020 11:56

between 12-15 days I think 😊 its been a bit of a funny month tbh , so I'm not entirely sure haha

Littlepeas2 · 26/02/2020 12:04

@Donnat89 not sure what’s worse, the wait for ovulation which seems to take forever or the tww! I’ve not use OPKs before and I’m wondering if it’s worth my using them. Would you recommend? X

Juno231 · 26/02/2020 12:09

@littlepeas2 if you don't use temp to track either then I'd definitely recommend using OPKs to make sure you're ovulating regularly in the first place but also to time your DTD accordingly - unless of course you're already doing it every other day anyway? You can certainly continue without it but run the risk of it taking longer by unknowingly missing your most fertile days.

Donnat89 · 26/02/2020 12:14

@Littlepeas2 I find the TWW wait horrendous. I hate it . Waiting for ovulation isn't too bad as least you know at that stage you are defo not pregnant . It's the unknowing I can't stand and the expecting them worse but hoping for the best which is painful .

I don't use OPKS either I find It is all becoming a bit to clinical with tracking dates , Cm and all the rest without adding that in .

I may try to track my BBT again but I always forget and I have a thermometer next to my bed 😩 xxx
