Could I be pregnant?

Hi all! New to Mumsnet so apologies if I'm doing anything wrong (ie posting in wrong place etc)

Got married 3 weeks ago and they started trying for number two! I’m 13 dpo. Due my period in 3 days (my cycle averages 31 days).

-I’ve been absolutely exhausted some days, especially yesterday.

• Occasional sore boobs. Each boob has been slightly lactating as well (surely not a coincidence?).

-Headaches. -Achey body -I was bloated the other day so much so that I thought I put on loads of weight and got myself down about it. -my cat is more affectionate and never normally is, and was with my previous pregnancy as well.

Also Saturday I used my expired pregnancy test which should a positive  I know I shouldn’t trust an expired test but it wasn’t going to go in the bin anyway.

I’ll try a test again after my period is due.

I’m convince I’m pregnant but not getting my hopes up. My first was conceived 2nd month tryin so I’m hoping the same as happened again but quicker! Ha!

I reckon you should test again sounds like it could be good news reading those symptoms !

I think if you used an expired test and it showed a positive then you're probably pregnant. Expired tests would be more likely to give you false negatives, but not false positives. There's nothing about the product expiring that would make it suddenly start reacting when HCG wasn't pregnant.

I'd be picking up test next time I was in a shop....
I had barely dusted off the confetti before I conceived so fingers crossed for you. Honeymoon baby and all that.

Ahh thanks ladies! I hope you're all right! I have a packet of clear blue in my bathroom but waiting for Wednesday at least! 🤞🏻

@bluemoon2468 that's what I thought about the expired test! Just seems too good to be true! 😛
