Conceive Plus

Has any used or is using conceive plus when TTC?

I’ve started using it the last 2 cycles, no BFP yet but I’ll definitely keep on using it.

@ablisha last time TTC I used it with the internal applicators & got my BFP 2nd month using it (4 months total) this time round onto my 3rd cycle using it and hoping for a BFP🤞🏼

@lunamoon1 @Nat4392 I've just bought the internal applicators so I'm going to try them this week 🤞🏼

I used it without the internal applicators and worked I think didnt get pregnant for 5 months and the first month I tried with this it did work but I think it gives me a UTI so be warned!! Xx

No but I used preseed. The month I caught I just went for it and used absolutely loads!

Wait I've got a UTI currently and never connected it to the conceive plus! This is my first month using it too.

@Sunflower2019 @lilcl95 did you use it internally? This is the first month I did. Last month I just used it like a normal lube and was fine. Didn’t even consider this could be the cause...

@nat4392 yeah I used both internally and externally. Tbh I just put it down to the fact that I don't pee straight away after DTD like usual cause I want it to stay in me for as long as possible. But then again this is my 2nd month of TTC and surely if it was down to that I'd have had a UTI last month too. Surely can't be a coincidence that both of us have had it after using the internal applicator.

@lilcl95 yea I thought mine was just down to DTD more than usual and not peeing straight after. I won’t be using it internally next month

I used it and got pregnant without an issue, but will never know if that had any impact. Didn't use any internally and didn't get a UTI either.

Preseed and soft cup method, pregnant both cycles I used it!

Interesting! I'll have to see if it affects me with a UTI too 🤦🏻‍♀️

What I found worked for me was stopping antihistamines (if you take them) and using a cough medicine with guaefenisin in it. This produces and thins natural mucus down there

@RogueV hmm I take an antihistamine everyday, have done for years, didn’t think this would even make a difference TTC wise. Might give them a miss for a bit!

It’s worth a try Nat4392 as antihistamines dry mucus up, definitely try the cough medicine too!

I used it after trying unsuccessfully for 5 months and caught the first month using it.
With 2nd child we used it straight off and caught first month!

That’s so weird and I’m currently pregnant used it again the other day as a general lube and had another UTI, maybe the only way around it is to bath straight after?? Definitely must be a link! I am pregnant though so seems it helped in that way 🤷‍♀️ Xx

It has more benefits than preseed too, I used preseed and it did nothing then read it’s just a sperm friendly lube where as concieve plus had actual vitamins within the lube to help x
