TTC after Implanon removal

Hi everyone. So I had my Implanon removed on 2nd January as me and my partner are TTC baby #1. I have been on some form of contraception for the past 6 years and haven't really had a 'normal' period since (before that I was like clockwork)- maybe just the odd sign of spotting here and there. I've still not had a period since and it was 4 weeks ago yesterday. I last took a pregnancy test a week ago which was negative and I don't really want to take another one yet as I don't want to be disappointed. How long was it before people got their period after implant removal? It's so frustrating not knowing, I kind of just want to have a period so I know my body is back to normal and then we can start from there. Any advice or replies would be greatly appreciated! Thank you x

I had the nexoplan implant for 9 years ... no period in that time.

It took me about 3 months to regulate ... we continued to use condoms for the next 6 months as was in process of buying a house and planing the wedding

4 months before the wedding we started to not not try ... I was 4 months pregnant at the wedding

Not sure if the being off it helped ... but all did return to normal and albeit I was lucky to get pregnant so quickly a good sign it didn’t effect my fertility

Good luck op

I took primrose oil from the first day of menstration up to ovulation ( when settled ) which is meant to thin your mucas to help fertilisation
