So I started what I thought was af on Sunday morning it was brown spotting lasted most the day the following day I had mild cramps just at the bottom of my belly and I had quiet dark red blood this lasted until last night which it then turned pink and stopped up until 2pm today there was nothing then I got quiet sever stabbing pains in my right side and between my legs and bright pink when wiping I've been feeling extremely nauseous and had burning/tingling sensations in my nipples which I have had since the 3rd of January usually once af starts this leaves but this time it never, has anyone experienced this before I don't want to give the gp a ring and be told its nothing to worry about but also in alot of pain I've only experienced period pain for as long as 2 days the pain had stopped and now started 2 days later! Thanks for reading!

Do you think you might be pregnant?
Have you taken a test?

NicoleR14 · 29/01/2020 19:48

We have been ttc but because of the bleeding being quiet red with clots I didn't think I could be pregnant I had faint lines on a clear blue early detection about 10 days ago but I put them down to being evaps is it even possible to still be pregnant and bleed like that? Thank you for replying!

NicoleR14 was af due when it arrived? I’ve had very similar symptoms to you this week...2 day af that was 5 days early, but loads of pg symptoms and plenty of cramping! Our bodies are so confusing. I’ve been in tears that not only am I out this month, but also didn’t even get to the bit where I can test when I really thought this was the month!

Have you thought about testing just in case?

NicoleR14 · 29/01/2020 21:14

@elizabethbennet3rd af arrived 4 days early I wasn't due until the 30th the witch arrived on the 26th! I've been extremely emotional and the pain in my nipples and breasts haven't left which usually a few hours after af arrives it dies down also it was very light not like a usual af started off brown in colour and ended up bright red with clots and then very pink towards the end it lasted 3 days so I thought it was the usual af but not sure now I don't know wether to test or not! I completely get it the fact I didn't even get to test on the day af was due made me even more emotional!

Maybe take another test??

ElizabethBennet3rd · 29/01/2020 21:22

NicoleR14 completely feel for you! How horrid. Sounds strange though, maybe you should test?

NicoleR14 · 29/01/2020 21:23

I do have a digi clear blue in the cupboard but terrified of the dreaded bfn again! Scared incase something is wrong as well But also don't want to make a doctors appointment and have them look at me like I've got 2 heads!

So with you on that! I’m worried maybe the early period is a hormone imbalance or something that means it might be hard for us to get pg. kinda want to know if it is but also scared to ask! Ignorance is bliss and all that!

No idea how to calculate ov now if that was a real af. Such a minefield. But maybe best to test just to know for sure and stop speculating? Start afresh with a new (perhaps unpredictable) cycle!

NicoleR14 · 29/01/2020 21:41

I agree I've thought about that as well but gp won't run any tests on me or dh until we have been 2 years actively trying it's been 4 months so far we've both been taking pregnancare him and hers vitamins and they don't seem to be doing much good!
