We have been TTC for a while now, came of depo December 18 and periods returned September 19 - I've been tracking my ovulation of at least trying and it's all over the place, this month I was having dark lines on my opks when I was on my period and until CD 9 now there getting fainter, I'm so confused, according too the 200 fertility apps I have I should be ovulating this week! My cycles are all over the place to, I just can't help but feel like somthing is wrong i dunno, just one of them days, my oh so desperately wants a baby too it's really getting me down

Have you been to the Doctor for a check up. They can do blood tests to check hormone levels etc. If everything is okay with you, your partner can get his sperm tested too.

Have you considered accupuncture to help regulate cycles? I've just started this month as I'm still breastfeeding my first son, but want to fall pregnant without weaning, I've have my cycle back about 4-5 months but it's been a bit irregular I know a lot of people have success so I've gone this way to try before I consider weaning, feeling super positive and hopeful this month currently serving the TWW

Acupuncture could be a option, I have to be careful with what I do as I have epilepsy so can be quite restricted with certain treatments xx

Hi Beth ,
So sorry to hear that you are struggling, if you live anywhere near London I would recommend going to a clinic called fertility plus and requesting to see dr Gudi , I know you've only started thinking of inquiring whether or not there is a problem but honestly this can save you so much heartache and waiting around for nhs to actually start taking you seriously. The initial consultation which includes testing for the main hormones plus your partners semen is 400 and then you can go from there , testing of your hormones on nhs is free obviously but you'll have to get through hurdles to even get to that point , and if you have some spare money why not go for it . It can definitely get the ball rolling.

Do you mind telling us how old you are too?
How long are your cycles? (Or max and min lengths if mad!)

It really sounds as if you are having anovulatory cycles and may need testing to see if there is anything obvious going on x

Get rid of your 200 apps! I had three and they all said I ovulated on different days.

I used the OVIA fertility app with the Clear Blue Advanced Ovulation Tests. Have sex every other your two fertile weeks, on day of ovulation and for two days after.

When I used the CB I discovered I ovulate on a different day to what the app predicted. I conceived second cycle of using this. I found the cheap stick OV tests confusing and unreadable.

I'm 28 soon to be 29, my average cycle is 23 days, but since Sept they have been 28,16,17,35,17, 20,24

I do have children from a previous relationship, two little boys, so that's why it's so frustrating
Can your ability to conceive just suddenly change?

Your cycles are very irregular and you should be able to get a referral for more tests even purely on that basis.

Yes unfortunately your ability to conceive can change, what you’re dealing with would be called secondary infertility. 💐

I'm actually scared now, I don't think I want to know
