BBT and possible line?! Help please!!

Can anyone give me some advice please.

This is my test from today. What is your opinion? And my chart? I am sure I can see a line but worried it’s just the reflection of the test window. I am 12dpo. So would have thought it would have been darker?

Anyone have any experience, advice, anything!?

@Clueless492 I don't want to get your hopes up but just by looking at your chart I would say you are pregnant - I can see a triphasic pattern from CD18 onwards. I can't see anything on the pregnancy tests though - maybe try a first response? Cautious congratulations and fingers crossed for you! x

Get a pink dye test.

Clearblue are notorious for false positives.

I can definitely see that line though so get a pink dye!!! And good luck

Oh really? I don’t know much about charts so thank you for that!! I didn’t know clear blue were notorious for false positives either. And the line is super faint. So do you guys recommend an FRER? Thanks for responding lovelies!

Hmmm. Can only see a possibly evap on the test, as it’s colourless in the photo.

Sorry to hear about the BFN. On your chart the start of the triphasic pattern is only four days ago, so if that was implantation there wouldn’t be enough HCG for a test yet.

Also, you have 14 days of high temps, which is normal and doesn’t indicate pregnancy. Yet! Think it’s 16-18 days of high temps which indicate pregnancy.

How long is you luteal phase usually? When would your period be due?

If you used a FRER in the morning on FMU then you may have found it a different answer. Using afternoon pee is not as strong. Try again in the morning and fingers crossed. Your chart looks very good

My period is due tomorrow apparently according to app. But I have only just had my coil out so hard to know. My nipples are killing me tonight. It hurts to have them in a bra. Sorry TMI. I remember my boobs hurting before period but not specially nipples.

Ok I will take your advice and take a test with FMU. If my temp is still up of course.

Oooooh fingers crossed fir tomorrow! Sore nipples are a classic sign!

The app telling you when your period is due won’t mean anything until it’s gotten used to your cycle, but if you’re usually a 23 day cycle then it may well be. Ovulating on day 8 (is that right) is a little early so hopefully you actually ovulated a little later, a few cycles of charting (unless you’ve been lucky this cycle fingers crossed!) will help you figure that out.

For many women afternoon/evening urine has the strongest concentration of HCG (see here: www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/pregnancy-tests-urine-sample.php).

Well, still no sign of AF. Temperature has dipped, but still above cover line. I do wonder how accurate I have been in BBT monitoring because my DH leaves for work early and wakes me up, I then go back to sleep for an hour or so and take temp then. But maybe I should have been taking it when DH wakes me up??

Yes you are meant to take it with 4 hours unbroken sleep. So ideally you should take it when hubby wakes you.

Frustrating nothing happening though?

@Clueless492 yes I agree with @paintfairy take your temp after the longest stretch of sleep, so when your DH wakes you up. That's the most accurate BBT reading. Hope you get some answers soon, keep us updated! x

AF arrived today! I am not disappointed, I am happy to know where I am and can start BBT measuring properly now, as you both suggested. I have order some OPKs too. Just to give me to the best chance. I will be ovulating on valentines/DH birthday so he will have a good day 😉🤣 (according to app), thanks for all your support though, it is lovely to have people supporting you as we have kept it quiet that we are trying x
