9 DPO can I test?

Going mad here! Part of me wants to text tomorrow but part of me things I should wait until AF is due (between Thursday and Saturday).
First month TTC

It’s my first month trying too and I did it at 8DPO, obviously negative! I think I will wait until 11 or 12 now because even if I had a faint line I would have to wait and re-test to feel sure it was actually right!
It’s so hard waiting though, it’s constantly on my mind.

It's driving me crazy and I'm not talking to DH about it as I know his answer will be "calm down"

We only had sex once during ovulation too so hope it was enough!

Definitely hold out if you can.

@Peggy91 I know what you mean, I’ve vaguely mentioned it to my husband but I’ve had quite a few “symptoms” but haven’t really spoken to him about them.

It only takes one time, so hope this is yours!

@LexiM what symptoms are you having?
I don't know if I'm making them up if I am having them!
I think the main once for me as slight cramping the past few days but nothing major and I'm defiantly going to the loo more often, the past 2 days I've woken up at both 1am and 4am to go!

@Peggy91Hi Peggy! I think our timelines are pretty similar, I’m due AF around the same time as you. I never got a properly positive OPK so not sure when, or even if, I ovulated. I stupidly did an FRER test yesterday and of course it was BFN. But basically what I’m trying to say is, you’re not alone and if you can at all, don’t pee on a stick this week. I felt so deflated yesterday morning and I should have just waited. I have had some symptoms, cramping etc but I’m trying my best not to get my hopes up.

@Peggy91 mainly cramping, but not like it feels when i’m due a period. I usually only get symptoms a couple of says before but had this much longer and it’s different. Slight pressure as well. That being said I haven’t had regular periods due to the pill, so they could have changed. It has been keeping me awake and usually I would sleep well. Also my skin is better than normal although quite dry especially my lips.

Who knows, I’ve read so many people on here with symptoms that aren’t so trying not to overthink but it’s hard.

So nice to know someone is in the same boat. I did an ovulation test everyday last week but will admit they weren't at the same time everyday. The only day I got a positive was on Friday that was it, no other days at all.
I'm new to this so not sure if that's normal or not?

I often get PSM, mood swings the norm but I don't normally get them this early on!
App is saying Thursday for AF but I don't think it will be until Saturday so I'm going to try and waiting until then. If no AF by next Monday then I think I will test!

I've bought a clear blue 6 day early one but still going to try and hold off!

Let me know how you get on won't you. Makes me feel a little more normal knowing someone else is going through the same thing xx

I tested at 6dpo, 7dpo, 8dpo, 10dpo, 11dpo all negative.

Tested today at 12dpo with a frer and got a positive !
Don't be disheartened if it's negative, it's still very early x

Bless you for doing so many tests, I think I would give up after the first one.
Will try and told off until next Monday as by the AF may have arrived!

@Peggy91 I will definitely let you know how I get on this week, keep me posted too! I’m also new to OPKs, I have had a previous pregnancy that resulted in a miscarriage last October, but I didn’t use OPKs back then. I hope we both get the results we want this week
