More fertile after miscarriage

I started miscarrying on Saturday 18th Jan - I was 6+4. Initially I didn’t think I’d want to start trying straight away but now that’s all I can think about 🙈 so basically, I was just wondering are you more fertile after a miscarriage? I have read it somewhere but not sure if it’s a myth! X

Hi! I’m so sorry to hear this! 😔
It turned out mind wasn’t a miscarriage but actually an ectopic pregnancy and needed to have methotrexate to break it down so had to wait 3 months before trying again but we did fall pregnant the first month of trying and I am now 7 months pregnant! From what I found from other posts etc it was 50:50 people’s opinions...some people believed it wasn’t true but quite a few found it to be true and fell pregnant straight away. The waiting for your next cycle is just so they can date your pregnancy so technically you don’t need to wait (if I’m right this is when they believe you to be more fertile before next period)....but make sure you get a negative as don’t want to get your hopes up if you get a positive...

All the best and sending you lots of baby dust 💕

We fell pregnant 2 weeks after our miscarriage and a friend of our fell after Omer period following her miscarriage, can't give you full on evidence but we were trying for a year before we fell the first time and then after the MC we fell straight away
