Hi ladies just looking for some advice :) me and my partner lost our 6 day old son Alfie in July 2018 and are now on our ttc journey for a brother or sister for him :) so this week I was sat down watching tele relaxing and I felt what I can only describe as a massive electric jolt through my stomach so much so when it happened I thought wow that was crazy, I’ve never had anything like that before and I’ve had a very heavy feeling in my stomach for days around this time but it has wore of a little bit, I thought it was just my period coming but there’s no sign as of yet, but that electric Jolt and the weird heavy feeling in my lower stomach is starting to make me wonder whether we have conceived this month, has anyone else had this electric jolt of heavy feeling in there Tum and found out they wer pregnant?

I've heard a few people say "butterflies" in their stomach were a symptom so possibly :)

Borgen · 26/01/2020 14:42

I did have exactly that. You've described the sensation I had perfectly. I didn't know as I wasn't TTC and it freaked me out as it was such a bizarre sensation. I've never had it before or since. When I later realised I was pregnant, I worked it back and realised it most likely was implantation or something.

I hope it's good news for you Thanks

No advice to offer but just wanted to say a big god luck with your ttc journey xxxx

@lucymagoo Thankyou for taking the time to reply I’ve heard of butterfly’s as a symptom too :) @Borgen wow I can’t believe I described exactly the same as what you experienced it was the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me it’s something I couldn’t shrug of because the jolt was that big and never known anything like it! @basicbitch16 Thankyou so much hun :) xxxx

I had this jolt! I think it was implantation because I conceived that month. Good luck!

Ojk90 · 26/01/2020 19:47

I had that two weeks after conceive and I was drinking coffee the week after and felt it was wrong. Took pregnant test and was pregnant and that was 4 years ago.

AlviesMam · 26/01/2020 19:49

Yep I had this in my left side of lower stomach. Knew before taking the test after that sensation xxx

Sammyclaire22 · 26/01/2020 21:04

I know exactly what you mean... I had it yesterday plus some spotting today so hoping it's good. It reminded me of late pregnancy "fanny daggers"- we were in the middle of a bank meeting and I almost jumped out of my seat!

@Bezalelle fingers crossed for me hun that it’s a sign I have conceived this month then, I was convinced I was going crazy so glad to hear from all you other ladies who have had the jolt it’s just a wierd sensation you can’t describe unless you have felt it because it is a crazy feeling literally a big jolt in your stomach it’s like it’s baby’s way of saying I’m here mum!! Christ I hope that means he or she isn’t going to be trouble lol! Xx @Ojk90 when did you test after you had your jolt ? Straight away ? I had the jolt about 6 days ago now and a very wierd heavy sensation around stomach area xx @AlviesMam I’m not surprised your wer convinced it’s what has led me to believe I am probably pregnant because it was the weirdest thing ever lol! Xx@Sammyclaire22 are you on your ttc journey too fingers crossed for both of us hun, I’m not suprosed you nearly jumped out of your seat lol I nearly jumped of the sofa!! 😂 another question ladies was it your second pregnancy you felt this with ? I never had it with Alfie and when I looked it up
On internet it says something about your muscles already been stretched and could be something to do with that ? And also when did everyone test after having the jolt, thanks ladies I appreciate the advice sending love to you all 💕💐

I tested two weeks after I felt it the jolt and I felt sure it was and I was right. I used first response pregnancy test and was a pure pregnant line then I took a clear blue pregnancy test and told me I was two to three weeks pregnant.

MotherofanangelAlfiesmum2018 · 27/01/2020 18:05

@Ojk90 Thankyou for replying and letting me know :) I felt the same, when I felt it the other day I thought that’s not a normal
Feeling to have in your stomach my belly actually moved it was that big of a jolt I’ve never experienced anything like it and all I can put it down to is that I’m pregnant, I really really want to test this week but not sure if it will be to soon xxx
