realistically what is the earliest a preg test can show positive.....

With ds my test showed faintly at 28 days, today is 28 days but test neg is there still hope, my cycle is anything from 27 to 35 days.

WIth this pregnancy I had a postive test 9 DPO.

were you using ovulation sticks

most definately still hope. See the thread I started called Maybe clutching at straws, don't know how to do links........

long and short of it was that i tested at day 28 and day 30 both negative but no period, tested again day 35 and got BFP

good luck.

and if your cycles can be anything between 27 and 35 then i would leave it till day 39 to test again.

I know the wait is agonising but i prefered to wait than to keep being told by the sticks that i was not pregnant, specially when i was!!
