Has anyone experienced butterflies in their tummy as an early pregnancy symptom?

Hi all,

Before I go into things, my history in brief- I've extremely lucky to have a 4 yo DS. It was a very long struggle to conceive him. We've tried for a second child since our DS was born. Had two pregnancies in that time, but lost both. The last was a pretty traumatic situation that ended up in an ERPC.

In each of my last two pregnancies, I've felt butterflies in my tummy in the few days leading up to when my period would be due. This isn't something I remember feeling other than then (and being nervous, obv!)

Because of my age, and how long we've been trying, we have an appointment to start IVF in a couple of weeks.

My period was due today and there has been no sign.

I know I should POAS, but the last loss was such a rough time that truthfully I'm a bit afraid to.

Has anyone else had this weird butterfly feeling and it's been an early pregnancy symptom?

I have actually. On Thursday. I felt butterflies and my heart kept racing.
I took a test yesterday and got a BFP.
My fingers are crossed for you. It's hard to wait but I personally think it's best to as long as you can
