Ovulation - any thoughts?

Hi Ladies,

I got a positive opk, on a one step, at 2pm on Sunday and then a static smiley face on my clearblue dual hormone opk at 8pm. I had cramping on Sunday and Monday (less so) and a fair amount of EWCM when I wiped (sorry TMI) on Monday so assumed I was ovulating on Monday. Today I have EWCM (only when checking -sorry double TMI) and strange (not painful) pinching feeling in my left hand side. Does this mean I’m likely ovulating today?

I don’t temp because I’m usually up several times in the night so they wouldn’t be accurate.

All thoughts welcome.

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question but I don't want you feeling you've been ignored.

I'm trying to get my head round ovulation and timing and all the bloody apps that come with it too.
Hope someone can clarify for you x

Did you carry on testing with OPKs after your first peak? As some women have an LH plateau where they can get peak readings for a couple of days, so it's always a good idea to continue testing until your OPKs turn light/negative again.

Ovulation usually occurs 24-36 hours after your last LH surge as far as I'm aware.

So it wouldn't be out of the ordinary to expect you ovulated Tuesday and you're having residual ov cramps (which I also get and believe is fairly normal and common).

But the only real way of knowing for sure when ovulation occurred is with BBT so we can only assume 😊

No I didn’t keep testing I guess I really should have. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.
