Is there a rough time when it occurs?

Due AF in 2 days, started (dark brown) spotting yest, very light pink spotting today. Believe I ovulated around the 5/6th jan (but don't know for def) so think this is more likely to be AF than IB but may be wrong. This is first time TTC so any experiences would be good to hear. I am a total novice and hadn't even heard of implantation bleeding until 3 weeks ago

Hi, implantation usually takes place 10-14 days after conception

Some woman get it some don't, I think it's more common than not. It's also usually like a spotting.

If this is implantation bleeding then I assume HCG would not be present so soon and would have to wait a while to test anyway?

Yes you're right. You won't have any HCG yet I would wait until a missed period or even a day before your period is due if you can find a very sensitive pregnancy test, clear blue do some great ones.

Well I'm due AF in the next couple of days so if not arrived by Thursday/Friday I'll test at the weekend!
