Came off the pill...advice :)

Hey just looking for advice.

First of all I'm sorry if I sound silly or really naive, my partner and I are trying for a baby and it's our first time. Haven't told anyone as we want it to be a surprise...

So here goes I came off the pill very end of October last year, took my period then came off it.

I never had a period November or December, then last Tuesday I started seeing light blood, and have been bleeding since. I have had no cramps, it's not heavy.

Is this my body getting back to normal after being on the pill for so long?

Is this a withdrawal bleed or is it my period?

Before when I took my period it was always very heavy and I had the most horrible cramp.

Would love someone to talk to about it :)

I also did take a pregnancy test just to double check but was negative.

Thanks in advance xxxx

It can take a while for your body to get back to being in a normal routine. I also came off the pill in October and my cycles since have all been different lengths, varying flow and mostly no cramping.
It’s hard to know if it’s a withdrawal bleed or normal period, you just have to go with the flow (pardon the pun) and see what your body does.

I came off the pill in October - had a bleed in November and December but they were only 3 days.

I am due on tomorrow and have just intense cramps this last week. Not pregnant as I have done 2 test but my DH and I wonder if this is the first 'proper' period since coming off.

I wonder if I hadn't ovulated the last 2 months.

Obviously takes a while to get back to normal!

I just don't understand how I track it on my app.

Do I make last Tuesday day 1 of period?

It's so annoying

Yes day 1 is the day you started your period 👍🏼

So for the first time since we've been trying I've finally got two lines on my ovulation tracker !

Can someone explain to me more what this means? Xxx

A positive ovulation test means you have a surge of LH, this means you will be ovulating in the next 12-36 hours or so. So get baby dancing!
