Hi everyone!

Just in a relatively lonely place, and wondered if anyone else has done this?

So I had a chemical pregnancy in my last cycle, which ended 13th December. I think I ovulated again on boxing day, and am now 23dpo.

I've been being sick after meals since ovulating (this happened last night, my boons are veiny and a bit sore, no sign of AF, no migraines (which is interesting because I usually have 3 or 4 a week), random mood swings which I recover from in about 15 mins (I usually have SEVERE pms, and get thrown into a pit of depression for 7 days before period), and just generally feel weird. Sore hips but not sure why, AF is now 8 days late.

As it's the cycle after a chemical and we have no idea when to expect AF, we've decided to leave it another 7 days before testing.

I was remarkably chilled out about this last week, but this week the terror is starting to set in! I'd like a reason for feeling so sick after eating, I feel wiped out today too. I'm terrified I'm pregnant and going to lose it again, and I'm terrified that I'm not pregnant and have no reason for being sick after every meal. It's getting pretty hard to be sick with no good reason now!

Anyone else extended their 2ww? Or is currently extending their 2ww?

@Gemma0711 you have some incredible will power!!! I'd be all over that pregnancy test by now!! How early did you test when you had your chemical? I've had a few chemical pregnancies now, the most recent was last cycle. It's very disappointing isn't it but I've found that my cycles are pretty much reset straight away. Are you not the slightest bit tempted to test now?? My fingers are crossed for you xx

@Crazyfor3, I'm sorry to hear that! They are super disappointing, but I dodnt realise how common they were until I had one and started researching. I dont know, but i think i was about 10dpo when i got BFP last time, and it was our first cycle of trying, so was a bit of a rollercoaster to be honest. I think I was around 10dpo when I tested and around 21dpo when I lost it. My symptoms stopped at about 19dpo, and I knew I'd lost it because I'd been being sick since conception. I did feel a little sick before I'd conceived too.

No, we've said we'll test together at the weekend, and I'm sticking to that. But I'd love to know why I'm being sick. It's not funny when its for no reason. According to my gyne, my womb, ovaries etc are all "textbook perfect", but my hormones are all over the place and have been for 15 years. So I wouldnt put it past my body to just be preparing for a spectacular period! AF is not late though historically. By the time I test, i will be 4 weeks past ovulation, so I hopefully should have a stronger positive than last time, or a clear negative 🤷‍♀️ But yeah, being sick, sore veiny and heavy boobs, sore hips, random mood swings, no period, my cervix is all over the place, no migraines, no pms...I dread to think what's going on in there 😂😂😂

Sounds to me like you could be pregnant! How long are your cycles normally? As you're already past AF you'll get a definitive answer if you test now or wait another 7 days. Why wait if you're feeling anxious? X

Wow I admire your will power, but I can understand your fear. I had a CP on 3rd Nov. I started feeling nauseous and had sore boobs again about 3 weeks later, I thought maybe my hormones were all over the place or something was wrong with me and didn't want to get my hopes up. Got my BFP on 1st Dec. I've been a bit if an anxious mess, scared everytime I go to the toilet and those first few weeks were especially tough as I was so worried, but so far so good 🤞.

I'm keeping everything 🤞🤞🤞 for you and hoping you get your BFP and everything goes well. X

@crazyfor3 @Lf89

I followed your inspiration and got a Bfp!

I've never used a red dye test before though. Am I right in saying this is a strong positive??

First photo shows today's positive on red dye test. Taken 23dpo at 3pm

Second photo shows blue dye tests from december which ended in chemical pregnancy. Taken with first morning urine and at 10/11dpo. And obvs MUCH fainter!!!!
