Morning after pill

Hi there ladies. I am a new(ish) mum to my first baby a 5 month old boy. Last night me and his dad had sex and and it got a bit out of control and he finished in me. I've been on the pill but I'm not going to lie the odd day I can forget or take it at each times .. I got the morning after pill at half 1 the next day after begging the nurse to give me it as she said since I'm on the pill there is no need because it's technically just the pill.. I explained we also did not use a condom and I know the pill alone it's 100% effective, she declined and laughed and said I have no need being at the clinic and sent me on my way. I got it elsewhere. The question is could I still get pregnant? I don't know when I ovulate but I took a ovulation test and it was negative. Any advice and when to try taking a pregnancy test? X

Take a test in 2 weeks

You are on the pill, and still took the morning after pill, your hormones maybe slightly raised due to this but you aren’t pregnant

Are you saying you took the morning after pill? If so you really don't need to worry about taking a test.

@Shev1996 @bluemoon2468 I read that you can still get pregnant if you've already ovulated since the morning after pill holds onto your ovulation for a little while longer. With having irregular periods and different cycles I'm not sure if I've already ovulated. I did a ovulation test and it came back negative

It's definitely possible. I know someone who used the morning after pill within 12 hours of unprotected sex and still got pregnant. It's not 100% effective.

No, it's not 100% effective, but seeing as you took that AND you're on the normal pill AND you got a negative ovulation test, I'd say the chances you're pregnant are slim to none.
