When to test

So cycle wise I am using an app so not too sure how much to trust this, plus last period was first after MC so it was an 8 week cycle so I think it's thrown app predictions off!

Usually I have a cycle of between 34-42 days ish. Currently on CD33. App predicts that I'll ovulate tomorrow & am due AF 31st Feb (which seems so long of a cycle!).

However, on the 6th of Jan I had OV type pains and lots of EWCM. So if I take 6th Jan as OV date then I would be 10DPO.

Currently noticed some symptoms, got very tender boobs/nipples. My nipples have felt tingly, keep tasting blood/metal, had a headache today and a good few dizzy spells. Last time I was PG before MC I got my BFP around 11DPO

So my question is, when to test? Part of me thinks I've I'm having symptoms surely I'd get a BFP so I'm tempted to test tomorrow. Another part of me is worried if app is correct and I haven't even OV yet then I'm wasting a FRER which we all know aren't cheap!

So my question is, in my position, when would you test?

Update: tested this morning, BFN, felt like I could see a tiny shadow but I'm sure I'm imagining it.

So it's either too early, or I may be out for this month.

@Jurassiclover hi lovely, we've been on a few boards together, I've been wondering how you've been. So sorry your cycles are all over the place - I'm in the same boat and it's very annoying! So I would always test either the day AF is due or the day after, purely because I couldn't bear to see a negative pg test, I'd rather wait to see if AF shows up. I think if I tested every cycle at 10/11DPO I would end up spending so much money as when I was pregnant in August (ended in MMC) I did about 5 tests as I couldn't believe it! So I would just do one test the day AF due/day after to save my disappointment and money! But everyone is different. Hope that helps x

@danielasummer hey love! Cycles being all over is a nightmare isn't it! How are you getting on? Yeah I think I'm gonna try and hold out til my app reckons AF is due now, I've spent a small fortune on tests haha!x

@Jurassiclover it is a nightmare! I'm getting checked at the fertility clinic though. All symptoms of PCOS just not PCO/PCOS. I'm getting on ok thank you, chart all over the place after my MC. In your original post did you mean AF due 31st Jan? x

@danielasummer hopefully the clinic can give you some answers! And ahh I did haha! 31st Feb would be a very long cycle haha x
