I never get EWCM

Confused I kind of thought ewcm was just something some people have and not something very very important to ttc. Guess I’m stupid. I’ve had it about twice in my life. I’m only in 20s but have never really noticed it ever. how can I fix this? Is it still possible to get pregnant without it?

Hiya I'm 30 and i don't think i have ever seen it either. I have a drs appointment in a couple of weeks so I'm going to mention it then.

@Jenna30ttc have you been ttc long? Ooh ok I’m taking evening primrose oil for mine but not doing much :(

I never noticed mine until my late 30s. Not sure if it was there before and I wasn't checking for it, but I've had all my kids now and was never able to use it as a sign of ovulation when ttc. Now I would definitely know. Not sure if this is 'a thing' that it is more noticeable as we age or just my experience.

@seeingasyouareclueless can I ask did you have your kids before you noticed getting ewcm?

@Sparkle2020 i came of the pill in September but i would say we have properly been trying since the December cycle as thats when i stared tracking ovulation. Have you been trying long?

seeingasyouareclueless · 17/01/2020 23:54

Yes, I didn't notice it before having kids. With ds1 I came off the pill and conceived first month, so I suppose there wasn't time, but then I never went back on contraceptives, just used condoms, so from 30-35 I had 3 dc and didn't notice it at all, it's only in the last year or so that I have. It is possible that I've been more aware as I've got a Fitbit and have been tracking my cycle, so it tells me when I'm ovulating, perhaps it's causing me to notice and make the link.

@Jenna30ttc on cycle 16 which is why I feel stupid for not giving it much thought Confused

@seeingasyouareclueless okay thank you! Makes be a bit more hopeful maybe I’m just not looking for it properly. Hope that’s the case

My acupuncturist told me to drink lots and lots of water. I was a bit Hmm about it , but the month I tried I really did notice a difference.

Sparkle2020 · 18/01/2020 13:18

@HeyHeyWhatever oh that’s a simple change isn’t it! Tbh I’m very bad with drinking water as I’m a bit of a coffee addict so that could definitely help. Thank you!
