Help- being dumb about ovulation

Hi all,

First time here so please be kind

Had a MMC in Aug, and ever since my cycle has got longer- is this normal? 2 cycles now I've used advanced ovulating sticks - haven't had any flashy faces but straight to a static face both cycles. Is this normal? Should I always have flash's first?

I don't know the answer but commenting to give another bump hopefully someone comes along.

The flashing smiley face indicates a rise in estrogen @Foreverblowingbubbles18. This happens before the LH surge that gives you the static smiley face.

I’ve never had this happen personally, I usually have days of flashing before my static, but I have read posts from women who have had this and still went on to get pregnant.

The first time that you test each cycle you will get a blank circle as the test is establishing your baseline levels. If you start testing too late in your cycle it could be that your rise in estrogen has already started and therefore the test won’t pick it up. If this isn’t the case it might be worth a trip to the doctor to have your estrogen levels checked.
